Explore beautiful Rabun county in style! We are happy to welcome you to relax and have a high quality experience in our mountain home, 1 mile from downtown Clayton shops and restaurants. The home sleeps 7, has dedicated office space with high speed (250 MBPS) internet, fully equipped kitchen & bar, a music room (BYO vinyl), and a specialty coffee bar. There is ample outdoor space, from our pretty porch facing East, to a covered lounge with dining table and a grill, and the fire pit in a small meadow by the house.

Home Away From Home

Extremely clean, minimalistic decor, and cozy furnishings make this home perfect for taking your mind off the busy-ness of your life. The porch is ready for a quiet time with your book and a cup of coffee. My boys enjoyed a fire a couple of times. The beds are comfortable too-huge plus! Main Street is close enough to enjoy the shops and the good food. We recommend La Canana for Mexican and for amazing pizza? Mama G's! Enjoy this beautiful place!

This property checked all the boxes!! Super clean, comfy beds. Espresso machine that made the most wonderful coffee. Close to town and super convenient to everything!! We will be staying here again!! Highly recommend!!

Perfect location and stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We absolutely loved how close we were to everything but also how private the house was. Everything is exactly as pictured. Beds and sheets were very comfy. 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs. We kept my older mom and dad downstairs so that they didn’t have to climb the stairs. Every time we needed something, the hosts had it somewhere for us. The communication with the hosts was also great. We got quick and accurate response. We will definitely be staying here again!

Best of Both Worlds!

This property is truly the best of both worlds! It all starts with the general location in Rabun County. The area has all the vistas, natural beauty, rural feel, and outdoor activities you’ll find in a beautiful mountain community, BUT none of the cheesy “tourist traps” of Helen, Gatlinburg, etc. Whitewater rafting, hiking, waterfalls, stream fishing, historical sites, State parks, lakes, and scenic drives are all within 30 minutes or less. But, the property is only 5 minutes away from quaint, downtown Clayton, GA - packed with great shops and restaurants (not T-shirt vendors and putt-putt golf). A large Ingles supermarket is just down the hill and a spotless Walmart is minutes away. The house is large, fresh, and clean - especially for a mountainside cottage. Every bedroom is spacious. Upstairs and downstairs sitting rooms are open and comfortable. Appliances and furnishings offer everything you need. Even the decor and furniture are “top shelf.” You can tell, the owners have tried to cover everything! Finally, I’ve never been so close to “civilization” and still maintained wooded privacy. This mountainside road may serve other homes, but each one is nestled in a hammock of dense trees. I really shouldn’t say this, but - you should visit this property before the rest of the world discovers it!
