Welcome to Suite 15 at the Schoolhouse — carved from the original 5th grade classroom of a century-old schoolhouse and transformed into a warm, unique, character-filled escape unlike anything you’ve ever stayed in.
Around the side of the building you will find Revived and Company, a locally loved antique and artisans shop with 50+ local vendors.

We are minutes from the hospital; 35 miles from Penn State University; 20 miles from the Elk Visitor Center and located in the beautiful PA Wilds.

The space
From the moment you walk in, the design tells a story. A massive, reclaimed wood bar anchors the kitchen area, lined with vintage industrial stools and pendant lights that cast a warm, golden glow. It’s rustic, refined, and completely unforgettable.

The living room invites you to sink into the sofas, rest your feet on a weathered vintage trunk, and let your eyes wander to the oversized world map hanging on the wall — a nod to every great classroom that ever-sparked curiosity.

The bedroom is a quiet sanctuary — a stunning antique iron bed dressed in rich linens, shiplap walls, and warm lamplight that makes everything feel like a Sunday morning.

-You will have full privacy, a quiet place to rest and to do your work online.

-You will have a parking space right beside your door. If your party of 4 has more than one vehicle, there are extra spaces available on the side of the building where there are unnumbered spaces.

- Please note that you will be staying in a building with people living on each side of the Vrbo. We also have another Vrbo listing, The Schoolhouse Loft, just two doors down from you.

- Coin operated washers & dryers are available for use inside the main building across the parking lot.

Schoolhouse Suite 15 offers its guests laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
