We booked same day and just needed a place to stay on a road trip. They were clean, renovated, convenient and cheap. The room was a decent size. The restaurant was reasonable, and on Mondays pool (billiards) was free and our 9yo could play! She was happy! The included breakfast was yummy and filling. Felt safe. Fairly quiet. For an overnight , I'd stay again.

Convenient location, reasonable price. Helpful front desk found us a downstairs room. (Bad knees, lots of luggage, no elevator.) Surprisingly quiet with the property being right by the highway (inside room faced courtyard). “Back Forty” restaurant had really good breakfast (not included). Had pool but no one told us where it was, and didn’t look. No “map” of the property even at front desk. Outside needs a paint job, but don’t let that deter you—renovated interior. Room mostly clean, but some spots (including from toothpaste or floss) on mirrors, tv frame, light switch and door frame in bathroom. Toilet, tub, shower curtain and sink looked quite clean. Materials in bedside table including laminated list of phone numbers, were grimy, interior of fridge had crumbs in every drawer. I questioned remotes and in room coffee-maker because of that. Housekeeping staff had probably gone home (?) so I didn’t ask for a touchup or another room. Nothing major. If staying another day I’d have asked for some extra attention to those details.

Check was very easy and the person at the desk was very nice to deal with. the rooms are getting a bit outdated but they were fairly clean and the bed was good enough to grab a good night's sleep. I did get a chuckle about the coffee station as there was nothing to stir the beverages with (there are worse things that can happen, I realize). i would stay again on my way through.

Arrived late. Had reservations. But… heat had not been turned on in room. Very cold! Had to wait before going to bed. They could turn on the heat in a room when they know guests are coming. Not pleasant in winter. Took 2 hours to warm room up. Young female server in restaurant was very pleasant and very good.

I had a wonderful stay at Wells Gray Inn in Clearwater! The room was spotless, and the entire property was incredibly clean and well-maintained. It's definitely great value for money – comfortable, affordable, and convenient. A special mention to Mike, the owner, who was so friendly and welcoming. He really made us feel at home and went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area!
