This mountain cabin is AMAZING! Lots of great things packed into this secluded cabin. 3 bedroom/ 2 bathrooms, inside gas fireplace and outside firepit, grill, deck heater, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, sleeps 8-10, 3- 50" SMART TVs, and yes, it SITS ON A RIVER! Minutes from HELEN, Downtown Cleveland, Vogle State Park, Unicoi State Park, Hiking, Waterfalls, 8-10 wineries less than 30 min. away. Local deer travel through our property daily. Jumping Goat Coffee overlooks Yonah Mountain!

Clean and Comfy

Great location to relax but not far from Helen Ga. Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. Loved relaxing on the back deck listening to the river.

Cabin in the woods

We had a great time. Location was great. We wanted some peace and quiet and that’s what’s we got. This house is close to a dollar general and close to baby land, downtown Cleveland and Helen. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that could have made it better is a hot tub !!!

A wonderful mountain stay

The home is a perfect mountain getaway for the whole family. The views are unbeatable, from the distant mountain tops to the river that's just yards away. My family enjoyed every minute of it and left with memories that will be cherished.

Beautiful Getaway

Beautiful cabin on the river in a very quiet, private area! A perfect spot for our women’s retreat! There was quite a bit of pet hair on the furniture and the kitchen could use a can opener. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!

Great stay in GA

We came to Georgia to visit Helen. It was a short drive to town. The property itself was perfect for the 7 of us. Lots of space. We loved the property setting. Clarksville was an unexpected find. Such a nice town.

Fly Fishing Friends

Three friends stayed at the cabin (3 bdrm house really) to go fly fishing in the river nearby. Great accommodations in a beautiful setting. Perfect for our group and could comfortably sleep 6 adults+. Everything was just as advertised.

Disappointed. This is not a superhost. It could be with some TLC. I’m sure this house was once loved but has been neglected. Old broken hot tub on the porch that has not been removed. Stairs to access the river are broken off and not repaired (this was the most disappointing part because I specifically asked before going if there was any damage to the house following the hurricane… we planned to take our 2 little boys fishing) Towels musty. Grill was gross. We chose to save our steaks for home. Drive to Helen is about 35 minutes

Family Trip

Overall our stay was good. Jason was very quick to respond and helped with questions and our needs. He was excellent! Bummed the hot tub was out of order, (and we weren't made aware of ahead of time) the kids would've enjoyed that. Would recommend new furniture in the living room, as the couch is broken and has a smell to it. A few other things need updating/fixed as well.

Great views and Great house

We spent ALOT of time on the back porch listening to and looking at the river...it was AMAZING!! We were able to hang out in the river and saw lots of deer and rabbits. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us, it was an easy drive to Helen and to several waterfalls. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus Everything we needed was provided On a scale from 1 to 10 this property is definitly a 15 : )

Mountains and river views

My family of 7 enjoyed our stay. We loved the house layout with the master on the main floor and the kids and grandkids having their bedrooms with their own TVs on the second floor. Nice having an indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. The views are beautiful mountains with the views of the gorgeous river and sound of the babbling river.

River house

We made a quick trip to catch the last of the leaves and visit Helen. The house was as described and had everything we needed, appreciated the extras like wood for the fire pit and propane for the grill…although we used neither :) The steps to the river are definitely a hike for us old folks, but it was nice to sit on the back porch and hear the river. We used the front porch to watch the deer come out at dusk. We would stay again if we go back that ways.

We loved this cozy river home.

Will be be back for sure. Amazing views from the porch. The home was comfortable and there is so much to do. We went to a couple of wineries and also to Helen since it was around Octoberfest. Hanging out and floating in the river is also a must.

Great Stay!

This cabin was a great property! Our family (3 kids and 2 grandparents) stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. We saw deer every morning/evening and were able to access the river. I will say, it was a bit of a hike on stairs which stop a little ways before you're able to get in, but my 5 and 8 year old were able to do it with some help. The cabin had everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. We were able to use the grill without issue and had no problems. The host was awesome and proactive with communicating with us and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. This place was spacious and I would definitely stay here again if we're traveling in the area. If you're planning to stay in the Helen area, you're not going to find a much better place than this!
