Not so quiet

Guest service was Excellent. Ms. Robin and Tieese were both amazing! The condition of room, bathroom, space, breakfast and breakfast area were also good. My issue was we were able hear everything from the rooms adjacent and above us. It felt like we were in an apartment and not a quiet quality hotel. We heard all the footsteps and stomping from the room above us, and all of the conversations from the person/ppl next door to us.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel was really nicely updated. The pool was in great condition and was a good temperature. The area had lots of stores and restaurants within just a couple of minutes of walking. The room was very clean and spacious. My only two complaints would be that 1) I think our room faced a major highway so there was some road noise but it was manageable, and 2) there was only one staff member working the breakfast, which was not sufficient. Items kept running out and she couldn't keep up with all of it on her own.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Glenarden/Washington DC offers a clean, comfortable stay and well-maintained facilities. Its location is ideal, and very convenient for both business and leisure travelers. There is a shopping plaza that has restaurants and retail options within walking distance. I enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast, which includes a variety of options and is served in a spacious dining area. Customer service was outstanding: front desk, breakfast/ kitchen and housing keeping staff were so professional and attentive.

As a race fan, I enjoyed the proximity of the freeway and the raw power exerted from a bevy of V8 powered vehicles ground pounding the interstate outside my window through the wee hours of the morning - impressive! Honestly, your staff is amazing! Thank you and I look for to my next stay on the ground floor on the opposite side of the building :) - Great coffee too!
