Pristine New Modern Bungalow At the Base of The National Forest; 1 Acre of land

Welcome to the Marmot! A New-Construction Modern Tiny House on an Acre of Land at the Base of National Forest. Literally walk to the lake, eateries, or the beautiful hike/bike trails to reservoirs, overlooks, and boulder fields. This 500 sf retreat has a quiet bedroom sporting a King bed, an adjoining bath with walk-in shower, washer/dryer and an open bright kitchen, dining and living room area. There's also a covered Patio with a grill to relax on and take in our spectacular starry nights. The Marmot is a perfect quiet retreat for two. Due to the home’s size, no more than three overnight guests, please. There is only one king bed and a third guest would need to bring a cot, blowup or sleep on the loveseat. Please inquire and request set-up before with us if you would like the travel crib provided or kids books/toys to be put out. Please check the pet fee line if bringing a pet so we can pay the cleaner for the extra cleaning time. Thank you!

The décor had a relaxed, inviting vibe that made it easy to unwind.One of the best parts was how pet-friendly it was. Traveling with our dogs can sometimes be stressful, but this place made it so easy. There was plenty of space for walks, and we really appreciated being able to bring our furry family members along without any hassle.The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still close enough to explore nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions. The host was fantastic—communicative, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of. Check-in and check-out were seamless, which made the whole experience even better.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely come back again—dogs included! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and pet-friendly getaway.

Accurately described overall, but not ideal for sensitive guests. The Glade plug-in scent was overwhelming — we had to air out the property for hours to clear the fake floral smell. Bed was very comfortable but All bedding (comforter, blanket, pillows, sheets, mattress pad and topper) was microfiber, which trapped heat and made it hard to regulate our temperature during sleep. Unfortunately, that made our stay uncomfortable.

The Marmot was beautiful place to stay! Alyce was responsive to any need that arose and her communications were always prompt and timely. Appliances appeared to be new - very clean. We had fun using the induction stove top. The location is in beautiful Palmer Lake and at night you can see the lighted star in the foothill right behind the house - amazing!Thank you for a wonderful stay - we would definitely book again!

Perfect Holiday Getaway

This property was perfect for my husband and I with our Border Collie. The house was very clean and smartly decorated. The in-floor heating and thick walls, meant we didn't have to run the heater much at all. The nieghborhood was quiet and perfect for taking our dog for a walk. We loved everything about our stay and hope to be able to stay there again.

Property was indeed pristine inside and out. Total serenity on the patio enjoying the beautiful scenery and flowers. Inside was so clean and furnished well. Wonderful four nights stay. Granddaughter lives in same town, so definitely my friend and I will stay again.
