Wow! Where to begin!!! Upon arriving at the facility I inquired about AAA and/or military discount. I was told that since I acquired my reservation through a third party that they couldn’t do anything other than what I was quoted through Expedia. Fair enough. Then they began tacking on their charge. I was going to give Expedia a crappy review but then once I got to the rooms I was assigned two rooms one of which the key didn’t work, not a big deal…so they offered a single king instead of my double queen. With some minor communication issues we finally got our two double queens. Again not horrible just a little frustrating, nothing big. We checked in, unloaded the truck and turned on the AC, we left and resumed the activities we were in town for. When we returned there were PUDDLES, LARGE PUDDLES of water from the AC that drained into the floor. Again frustrating but okay, I get it. Then we went to take our dogs to potty and there is almost no where for them to go. The property is covered with rocks. We had to go out to the road in the front for our dogs to potty. Again frustrating, probably not worthy of a terrible review. Finally, began looking for the laundry and come to find out they have a single washer and a single dryer for the entire building to use. This was the final straw. I have always enjoyed my stays with Wyndham hotels I always return to them they are really the only ones I use, until today. I don’t know if I will ever use them again. This is a terrible place.

I came here for the weekend for my church event. I must say I was very surprised even with reading the reviews of other guess. I like that the location didn't put me too far out from my church. Everything that I wanted to do was on the same road from one end to another, I didn't have to get back on the express way for anything except to get to my church. The staff was very kind, I even like that when I got back to my room after 11 p.m. the main entrance was locked which meant I had to use my key card to gain access. I traveled alone this trip and my room was located on the first floor making me feel even safer while I was there. The only downside is the fact that there is no closet to hang your clothes up and the sink is right at the door when you walk in instead of being in with the shower and the toilet. Overall I loved my stay and definitely would book with them again.

Not bad for a one nighter

My stay at the La Quinta hotel in South Carolina was mostly positive. The hotel appeared clean, and the check-in process was efficient, although they did mention a 24-hour $100 incidental hold on my credit card. However, upon arrival, it would have been helpful if they had informed us that the elevator was out of order. This inconvenience was particularly notable as many guests, including families from Army graduation services, had to navigate stairs. While the elevator was fixed the next day, the initial lack of disclosure caused some inconvenience and complaints among guests. Despite this issue, our room was clean and comfortable, with a fairly comfortable bed. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and I would consider booking at La Quinta again if I return to the area.
