The pancake maker was the best and the lady that ran the breakfast was so hospitable and helpful…GREAT JOB! And the desk gentleman was so helpful giving us instruction how to stay in the middle lane to exit for Indiana..another helpful tip..THANK YOU!

The only really bad area, was the pool. There were very little non slip runners. The pool area was extremely slippery! We saw a toddler, who was walking slowly fall. She hit her head, and if it wasnt for the life jacket her mother had on her, that could have ended up with an extremely bad head wound. That area is a lawsuit waiting to happen!! My friend who has to walk with a cane, had to get help from a wonderful gentleman,who was also a guest, to get to the door from the pool.

I called three days before my check in requesting an early check-in. I was told I needed to call the day before so the day before my I called requesting an early check-in. I was told I needed to call the day before so the day before I called and was told that I could check in between 130 and 2 pm. Whenever I arrived the white gentleman (only using ethnicity because so the hotel is aware of whom was there). The guy was rude I was told that nobody there would have told me that because that’s how they handle it. I told him to look in my reservation because it had been noted he was rude about it, and still told me that it was not the way that it should be done. He did allow me to check in, but had a horrible attitude the next morning I spoke to him again, asking his recommendation on how to handle early check ins and he was still extremely rude

After 2 different failed attempts at lackluster hotels, and tempers reaching boiling points, my family and I decided on the Holiday Inn Express. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and everyone we encountered from the staff was very friendly. The room was very nice and clean. Definitely changed the outcome of how our weekend went for the better and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area
