Towels are very dirty. Rooms seem recently remodeled but with poor workmanship. Shower and faucets are not working properly. Water pressure are very low. I will give 0 star it's allowed

Repeat whenever I'm in Costa Mesa.

I've stayed here many times now, and love this place. The family who owns it is great. It's clean, comfortable and inexpensive. A.great no frills place to stay fir the weekend close to amazing food in Santa Ana and Costa Mesa, close to Newport and Laguna Beach, close to South Coast Plaza for high end shopping. Overall, this is a great spot.

Good rooms, great beds, and glad no pets.

Room was in good condition, and the bed was very comfortable. Wished I could have stayed another night. Plus they don't allow pets, which may be an issue for some guests, but I have to say these hotels that allow pets wear down a lot faster. Glad they don't allow pets. Leave the pets at home people.

I I book Sonesta but it was too far from the airport the Dest Clark said clearly she will cancel my stay if I find something closer so she cancel the stay. So I booked Star in Motel very Good place they even have a nice size refrigerator which I was happy so I will definitely stay again 💕👍

Worked great for our needs

It was good for our purpose, which was for the location and to sleep and shower before taking a trip. It was quiet and secure. The staff were friendly and polite. Very good rates on cost. I was disappointed the room didn’t have a fridge for our food and drinks though. The grounds and furniture are kind of old but the bathroom is new. The room itself was clean, but could definitely use a “deep cleaning” every once in a while. We weren’t looking for anything fancy. I wanted an inexpensive place for us to sleep and shower and that’s just what we got here, so I was pleased.

Decent in a pinch but prob wouldn’t stay again

I booked this prop becasue of the rating. I firmly believe those reviews must’ve been from their friends, fake accts, or were paid. Cause the whole place was two star all the way. The bed had one thin sheet and one old, dirty comforter. The price was right but as they say, you get what you pay for.
