The property was very nice, very clean great staff. Beach was nice and pools were great. My only two downsides were the alcohol was incredibly hard to get drunk off of and the overall food was just okay.

Bad customer service spoils vacation

I would have given a higher rating as the majority of the restaurant staff were friendly. Two individuals stuck out for creating a bad experience. May 3125 between 4-5pm I went to the concierge desk to ask the lady to help me with my app to sign up for the pool party, instead of trying to help me she lied and said that they had sent her an email that the pool party was canceled. I went to the pool party but she preferred to make up a lie instead of helping a customer. June 2 25 @ 12.18 pm the rudest lady at the towel shack. she virtually threw the towel at me when I asked for a newer one without stains. she was horrible. I was going to book RIU for my Zanzibar vacation in October but I will not now because of the two individuals.

Absolutely loved this resort. This was our second time at RIU Latino because we had such a fun time the first time around. Jehar, Antonio and Alejandro at the various bars were absolutely amazing. The club was always a good time and is open till 2am every night. There’s a lot of party options that the resorts offer for free which we loved because we came for a good time. This property is also extremely clean! Thank you so much for having us!

The pool area closes too early but the area was amazing while open. It’s and adult only resort nit sure why it closes at 8:00. The restaurant next to the pool closes at 4PM - too early.

My family had a lovely stay at Riu! The staff was excellent. The food options were many. Obviously, it’s a buffet style that serves many people from all around the world so it’s not made to order food. However, there were many dining options—Asian, Italian, Mexican. I highly recommend this resort for those seeking a getaway.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The people were helpful and friendly. I was surprised by an additional "state tax" when I checked in that totaled $133/4 nights. I thought Expedia's price included all fees and taxes. They said it didn't. The property was still worth it.
