We have stayed at this property numerous times over the past ten years and usually rate it with 5-stars. Recently, we have noticed that it has been going downhill in the area of maintenance. During our last two stays, we have encountered a toilet seat that would slide off of the bowl when we sat down, clogged shower drains so the water accumulated around our feet, filthy carpets in the elevator and hallway, a missing hook on the back of the bathroom door that resulted in no place to hang a wet towel (we hung it over the picture frame instead), and the reek of marijuana in the halls. These are all little things that we expect in heavily used hotels, but we are becoming tired of having to ask to have them addressed. It seems that the manager is not supervising properly, or they need to hire a new maintenance person. The rooms and linens have been clean and the beds comfortable. That’s why we’ve continued to stay there. But the general appearance is becoming very shabby and we will probably stay elsewhere when we return again to the area to see how they compare. It is becoming embarrassing when people ask where we are staying.

Mold on bathroom ceiling, tub was clogged so it would not drain while showering, caulking around tub was molded, hallways extremely dirty with thrash in stairwells, entire hotel smelled like smoke and lack of cleanliness
