February 2025 Stayed at the Fiesta Americana in February 2025 for our wedding anniversary and what an amazing vacation. The warm welcoming hospitality received from the staff and food were unmatched. Every afternoon we ate tacos (the best!) on the beach and Jose was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with each visit. At night we mainly ate at Peninsula (Asian restaurant) and Edwin was equally great. There are other restaurants on the resort so there are options for everyone but these two were our favorite! The only minor downside is the beach which is predominantly for snorkeling was a little rocky, but the pool is beautiful and didn’t take away from our stay. This resort is truly a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning soon!

Great Resort ... food could be better

Great base for a trip based on Scuba ... but much of the food service (except Grill and Cevicheria) is mediocre at best, both in choice and quality. Although 'All Inclusive' the premium items are exorbitant ... and in the case of the premium wines we tried, very poor - worse than the house wine. We got VIP vouchers, but they are virtually impossible to spend, without spending huge amounts on top. As this is out of town and the taxis are now very expensive (always pay in Pesos), think carefully about location if you want to get out and about. Hire cars in Cozumel are wildly overpriced with 'Compulsory Insurance' running to hundreds of dollars.

The staff was great. Arturo was very helpful with dinner reservations and with the romantic dinner. Brianca was always asking our needs. The bartenders were all great and never took very long to get a drink refill. There could be a couple more options for dinner, but overall the food was great and had many different options.

The staff were phenomenal, quiet property not full of partyers, so If you’re looking to relax this is a great place. There is not much of a beach, you cross the road to get to the beach area and daily buffet. There are bed cabanas to lay in by the pool and the beach. I found people would put their stuff on the beds to reserve them and would leave for hours without using them, there should be a limit for this. Swim up pool bar was great, the bartenders did a great job. It could get quite crowded and busy at times. The room was a bit outdated, wall lamp was coming out of the wall. It was quite humid most days, there was always a dampness to the room and bedding. Check in and check out were seamless, we were able to stay on property until 2:00pm and still eat/drink rather than being kicked off property at 12:00.

I've stayed at several hotels and all inclusive properties on the island over the years, the usual complaint from me is the food, not enough variety and lacking flavor. Fiesta Americanna stands above the rest with plenty of options and the quality was exceptional at every restaurant, every time! The dive boats pick you up right on the pier and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating without the usual high pressure sales pitches every time you pass by. Keep it up and I'll definitely be back!!!

The food was great, and there was lots of room at the beaches. Really a hidden gem. Would highly recommend.
