The rooms were great. New beds were very comfortable. The sheets, comforter, and pillows were very good. Housekeeping was great. The bar closes too early. Entertainment was just ok. The breakfast food was ok but always cold unless you got it straight off the grill. The restore food at the hotel was absolutely terrible! The worst food in an all inclusive. The drinks were poor as well. Soda was flat. We won’t be back. This was our third stay and it’s truly gone down hill with the food.

We've stayed at the property before and overall like it. There are a couple of things they could work on to improve. First is the walking surface, it looks nice but hard to walk as its stone, if you need assistance to walk, it can be challenging and may trip. The second item to improve on is the buffet line set up. Having the grill in the middle of the line blocks access to half of the buffet, there is no organization to the buffet line and it becomes a zoo. The omelette station really needs to be moved to the side, it can get so congested at times I skip it because I don't want to stand in line 15-20 minutes for an omelette.

Came here on our Honeymoon, called resort 1 month before our arrival to verify we would have a king bed which upon our arrival we were told no king beds available. So in our 10 day Honeymoon 5 of them was in a double bed room. Wind howling through the sliding glass door was very annoying when we were trying to sleep. Finally got moved to a king bed room and the a/c in the room below up was so loud it sounded like an air compressor running off and on all night which also vibrated the entire floor. Food in the “specialty” restaurants was bland. And I ordered “chicken” and was brought a Turkey leg. Surprisingly the buffet was the best. Hot tubs x2 were both barely body temp and when we spoke to the front desk about turning up the heat, they straight said NO. Overall we had fun off the resort. I definitely would NOT call this a “Luxury Resort” we will not return here. And the timeshare people are super pushy. Definitely wouldn’t want a timeshare at this place and they say 90min… more like 3hours!

I just got back from staying here the week of February 19th to the 26th and I read all of the reviews and was very hesitant and nervous about staying as it didn’t get a lot of great or even good reviews, but I kept an open mind and I am not a picky person but I still prepared myself that it may not be that great. All I can say is don’t read the reviews lol except this one and go there with an open mind and see for yourself. I did and I have to say that from the time we landed and got our shuttle service and arrived was nothing but amazing. The hotel had a jungle feel and at first we saw one big jungle pool with a bar and thought ok it’s pretty shaded and was cold but it still was beautiful, then we ate at buffet which I could always find something at and every night was a theme of kind of what they had for food, then the next day we realized there was a whole other area u see the road which I was so skeptical of as the pics show it like the hotel is so far away but it was not and the under bridge tunnel was pretty cool and it led you to the beach area cove which was beautiful and that’s where you can snorkel, then there was an adult infinity pool with a bar in the pool and also on the other side is like the family side where there is another pool with swim up bar and two areas that look like hot tubs that are literally in the ocean out on a balcony that are a pool not hot but was awesome for our group like we had

We have stayed at this property several times. The property is still in nice order and maintained well. The food has taken a terrible turn for worse. We were served cold food straight out of the refrigerator one night. We had a few nights that the food was not edible and it made us sick. Once we treated our gut, and we went off property - we did not get sick. Secondly, I found a security guard that had his nose in the numbers on my safe. Many reasons were given for this, but be aware. They did refund my money my for the nights we did not stay once we discovered this. We will not be back to this property.

The resort was beautiful & very clean!!! The beach area & pools were very clean and pristine!!! I LOVED THAT!!!!! My husband LOVED the snorkeling!!!! I think the worst thing was trying to walk on the rocked cobblestone, very unstable walking conditions!!! It made my legs sore. We will NOT be back because of that!!! The blue bottle- water fill station is a good idea unfortunately, the water from those filling stations DID NOT taste good at all. We filled our bottles at the restaurant. The waiters didnt bring cream for my coffee, constantly had to ask for that....and when i did ask, they didnt understand me. I thought the food was good, even though there were lots of bad reviews on that. The special restaurants should have bigger portions and it should be hot when its brought out. The rooms were nice & very clean!!! Everything worked great!!! The idea of putting your room key in the white box is a good idea, but i thought it was kinda weird!!! The hot & cold water for the showers was mixed up!!!! In the USA....Cold is on the right, Hot is on the left!!!! My friends took cold showers the first 2 days. Until we told them turn the handle the other way to get hot water and that worked!! The lighting in the bathroom should be brighter!!! But it DID Work!!! The Mayan show and the Fire Show for entertainment was really cool!!!! But there should have been more entertainment or bars open later......we went to our rooms every night by 830, cuz there wasn't much to do
