Two story architecturally designed Holiday Home by Eastern Solar Design to be cool in summer with extensive wrap around concrete balconies on N and W sides with louvre windows on all sides to regulate breezes.

As the name suggests this property has an uninterrupted view of the Ocean and extensive views of The Beach, Bay and spectacular Sunsets.

This large holiday home sleeps up to 12 guests & has extensive living and entertaining areas that are big enough for the whole family. The kitchen is well-equipped with stainless steel appliances and a large dining area for family meals.

Outside, there's a big deck perfect for gatherings while enjoying the fresh sea air. The main bedroom features a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and single bunks, the third bedroom also has a king bed, and the fourth bedroom includes a queen bed and single bunks, providing plenty of sleeping options.

The main bathroom downstairs has a separate bath, shower, and toilet, while a second bathroom offers a shower and toilet for extra privacy. There's also a separate toilet upstairs for convenience.

The lower sun in winter heats the N and W concrete balconies which warms up the house.

Much of the energy that you use during your stay will be captured by the N facing Solar Panels.

You can charge your EV car free of charge when electricity is being generated during the day from the Solar Panels. The low slope N facing Panels have NO shading.

The property includes a remote-controlled double garage and a large wood fire BBQ area for outdoor cooking. Stay comfortable with ceiling fans and solar heating. A laundry area with a washing machine and dryer adds to the convenience of your stay.

A $700 security deposit is required on each booking.

Great location and house, needs work

We loved the house and location, the house has a great layout and has great potential but we were let down with a few basics. Seems as though it’s used by groups of fisherman, which is fine but everything very greasy upstairs and cabinetry was filthy. (We actually took all 72 serving platters out of the cabinets, wiped them down and reordered them) In general the cabinets are way over stocked and items just seem to be strewn everywhere because of this. 8 lounges in one room but none in the main living with the view of the water and where you want to sit when people are prepping food etc. Downstairs bedrooms were musky and the corner bedroom to the right of main bathroom was mouldy with mould growing on the frame of the bunks. We wiped down no issues but noticeable damp and mouldy room. No entertaining chairs outside or gas barbecue, downstairs barbecue is wood fired and covered with leaves, very nostalgic but not practical. Light bulbs in garage are blown We would absolutely stay here again, loved the place but just could be so much better.

Crowdy Head

Tidy property, absolutely beautiful view. We love Crowdy Head. The property needs outdoor furniture & a thorough window clean throughout. Some lights aren’t working (bedroom) and there’s a broken timber fixture off the balcony which bangs in the wind. Broken red chairs in the dining area.
