Nice Hotel

Our room was fabulous, split over two floors, in a quiet courtyard. It had a small kitchen and decent bathroom. The breakfast was like other hotels in this price range, but the room was better than most. The location is a bit tricky to find, but only a 7-8 mins walk from Plaza de Armas. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was like a little house with a kitchen and everything you need, it was amazing and very very cute! I wish we knew it was like this at the start ot our trip, we would have stayed there the whole vacation!!

The family suite had a lot of character and was very clean and modern. It was a three story unit, with the kitchen and living room and bathroom (shower and toilet and sink) all on the first floor. Two twin beds on the second floor and the master queen bed on the third floor.

Good views and nice staff. The rooms look nice like the pictures. Like most inexpensive hotels in Cusco, it is cold. They do provide space heaters but it takes a while to warm up. Hot water takes extra time to get to the shower and sinks. Sometimes there is a cat or dog urine smell. You have to walk a couple hundred yards up hill to get to the property and it was a challenge with heavy bags. The alleys have a lot of dog poop and pee so watch your step.

Property is excellent for the price it goes for in comparison to other available properties, which are more pricier but are smaller the suites in la Morasa (with the same rustic look and feel). You have to walk a little bit to get to the property from where the taxi drops you off. Hotel scheduled pickup from airport. Hotel also helped schedule transportation to the Poroy train station (for those going to Machu Picchu).

Great place and en excellent value in Cusco

The most pleasant stay during my 2 months traveling through the South America. Carmen the Receptionist was very helpful, friendly and professional. Other staff cleaners, breakfast staff very happy and friendly. Great place with beautiful courtyard flowers, plants and humming birds! I highly recommend!

Hotel is located up the hill and walking up could be challenging. I will suggest to stay in hotel closer to Plaza de Armaz. Suite has 3 levels with 1 bathroom downstairs, it makes room not very comfortable. Breakfast is extremely limited. Nice to have a kitchen and cook your own food. Staff in hotel is very pleasant and helpful. They allowed us to check in earlier then stated time It as great after night flight. Hotel also hold our luggage during our trip to Machupichu. Overall, OK stay.

Great Location, helpful staff, beautiful rooms.

We spent 6 days in total at La Morada on our recent trip to Cuzco. It was like our home away from home. The rooms were very clean, and the kitchenette was well stocked with dishes as well as tea. It was wonderful to have a kettle to boil water for our use instead of always buying bottled water and adding to the bottle/garbage problem in Peru. There was a room safe, the beds were very comfortable, and there were in room space heaters for cooler nights. The view from the terrace is lovely, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and were very knowledgeable about the area. We especially appreciated Brenda and Willie, who were delightful. The free airport pick-up was great, and they booked us prompt taxis to the airport when it was time to leave. There was also luggage storage while we were away for 4 days hiking the Inca Trail, and it was in our room ready for us when we arrived back. It was a great, safe, quiet location. Close to shops, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to Plaza de Armas.

Private, Peaceful Piece of Puno

This beautiful hotel has an incredible, private, safe location on Esteves Island, approx. 20 min. walk or 5 min. taxi ride to the marina (start of Uros and Tequile Island tours). I've never slept in such a comfortable hotel bed! Great view of Lake T from our bed! Fantastic breakfast was included. Friendly, helpful staff. Only cons were VERY SLOW Wifi and service in bar every time was poor (although food and drinks were awesome). Be sure to walk around 20 minute trail around island to see rabbits, guinea pigs, alpacas, birds, etc.

Worth the Climb!

This hotel is such a hidden gem...located in San Blas area up a few flights of stairs on a small very quiet street. The best part is the rooftop terrace that overlooks the city...a fantastic view. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Room was very clean and beds fairly comfie. Breakfast was nice too. Only drawback might be for older folks going up and down the stairs but taxi driver carried our suitcases down for us (but for some reason not up). Wi-fi was slow but can't complain as no extra charge. Highly recommend this place!

Overall I enjoyed my stay. Lots of hot water, great views, and a heater in the room, which counts in Cusco!
