The hotel’s staff were polite and helpful. Room was okay and they even provided a few bottles of soda and beer (complimentary) in our room. Breakfast buffet was simple but sufficient. Overall it was a good experience.

Make sure you never stay in room 210. It's right above the kitchen and the start banging pans at 5:30 am. I had been traveling for the previous 20 hours and needed sleep. I talked to the from desk and there employees are not empowered from leadership to do anything other than saying sorry.

The room was clean and well situated. Breakfast was very good quality and the staff was always pleasant and willing to help with any requests. Between my two stays (I was gone 4 days for the Inca Trail), the staff kept my luggage safe on their location and I found it waiting in my room when I returned. Everything was top notch. I was at Tierra Viva 14 years ago when I first went to Peru and it was my first choice returning this year. I do not regret that choice and would make it again in a heartbeat if I returned.

Nos encantó este hospedaje. Caminando, llegas en menos de 10 minutos a la Plaza de Armas. El personal es súper amable. Una mención especial a Wilson de front desk, que tuvo la amabilidad de hacernos ingresar a la habitación un par de horas antes; nuestra interacción con él durante la estadía fue amena y tuvo la disposición de reservar un taxi para el aeropuerto con anticipación. Otra mención para Brigitte del restaurante, quien todas las mañanas nos atendió con disposición y amabilidad. La habitación espaciosa y cómoda. Definitivamente sí regresaré :)

Although the room i was given was clean, it didn’t have proper ventilation. A small window in the room opened to a busy street and was completely covered with glass. I would wake up in the night feeling suffocated and would open the room door to let fresh air in. Location wise it’s good with walking distance to San Pedro market and Plazas da armas.

Tierra Viva was a great hotel right in the middle of the Historical District of Cusco. Super easy to walk around and get to the Plaza de las Armas, shopping, restaurants, etc. Room was cozy, clean and comfortable, breakfast was great and the staff was lovely. We loved our stay there!
