There are a few restaurants in the area. There was also a sign by the door to make sure it was locked at night and not to open it to anyone. The pool was closed during my stay and apparently it has been closed for a while. It’s a budget friendly location so you get what you pay for.

The staff are not particularly friendly or welcoming but they get the job done efficiently. Lots of noise from the people upstairs well into the night on my first night, sounded like a kid up way too late but that's not the hotel's fault. The room was good, parking was convenient, would stay there again and I travel to Dallas around 6 times a year so a return is likely. I do wish more businesses in Dallas had heard of and implemented recycling though.

Just an average stay. They harped on no smoking in the rooms, but gave us a room with burn marks on the blankets. Took pictures in case they tried to say we smoked in there. Lots of ceiling water damage and holes in walls. Hallways smelled of wet dog and weed.
