This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. It’s 5:00 am and I have yet to be able to get to sleep because the traffic noise is so loud (because the windows are poorly made) and we’re on the fourth floor! I should have known sound would be an issue when my wife pointed out there were earplugs. To my horror, I found out two $3.00 bottles of water were actually $16 for two bottles of water! $16 DOLLARS!!! Are you kidding me!!!!!!! The water was barely hot: television was unwatchable because of lack of channels: toilet took two hours to flush. Avoid this hotel at all cost! We will NEVER stay at another Tru Hotel…. Oh and we’ve been Hilton Honor members for 10+ years AND our daughter and her husband purchased a room on our recommendation!!!! Horror show!!!!

The Hotel was in a good location for the places that I was going to be as well as close by to Love Field (in case you’re landing in there). The staff during my stay were nice and courteous and the room that they assigned me was clean and spacious. When I get to be in Dallas again I’ll consider staying there.

The room was noisy all night long and traffic outside woke me up through the night. Breakfast was very limited and blan. The room seemed okay although soap dispensers were broken and curtains were broken. The biggest problem is that I arrived after my flight to find my reservation had been canceled by the district manager without notification to me by phone or email. They found me a room within an hour, causing me to be an hour late to work.
