The staff was not friendly. Staff working bar/drink area told us no we couldn’t have certain thing that were on menu. Asked for clean towel on Saturday, received them Thursday, we were checking out Friday. No hot water at any time of the day for showers. Pools were cold. We weren’t aware the water park day pass guests were allowed into resort area on a day pass. Not a very good selection of food at the only restaurant for entire resort. The pizza was great, my family lived on it for a week. When we booked this resort description said a 5 minute walk to beach- it’s a 20 minute bus ride to the closest beach. Overall not impressed at all by its Kunuka Aqua Resort. Island is beautiful and the weather was great.

Of all the attributes of this resort that render it wholly unsuitable for a relaxing family vacation worst of all is the food, followed shortly thereafter by the lack of any lifeguards and then non-existent service. Let’s first talk about the buffet. There could not be a more sorry excuse for buffet if one tried. The food is utterly and completely inedible. The food consists of a wack-a-mole of literal garbage: pasta with hamburger meat mixed in; peas in a soup of mayonnaise; some cured meats like salami; more pasta (with butter); diced up chicken that’s overcooked; various fried rices, most of which contains the leftovers of prior meals. They have a giant empty tub of mayonnaise at the bar instead of proper drinks with which they douse the food until it becomes unrecognizable. Breakfast is literal trash. No one was willing to make an omelette even when we offered to pay extra, and the sunny side up eggs are loaded into a metal vat with some bread at the bottom to absorb the grease and cracked yolks that invariably run out. The staff, none of whom are trained chefs or have any culinary experience, seem to be walking about in a daze. Any request you make of them is met either with abject resignation or a dead stare, as if they are unable or unwilling to process your request. Silverware, plates and water are routinely unavailable so that even if one did have any inclination to eat the food, one would be unable to do so. We ended up just eating out virtually every night .

I never did have hot water. No wash rags and normal all inclusive means fresh bottled waters etc left daily in the refrigerator. . the bar at the pool was always out of frozen drinks or not ready before they opened. Out of alot of things.

The room was in an amzing condition. Staff was great however we disnt like that 1 of the kid pool was closed off. And also the water park area was only open on the 3rd and final day of our stay. So we didnt get to utilize it. Also while the lunch and dinner was amazing, breakfast was the same items both days. Also i got food poisoning at some point during our stay.

We did the all inclusive & the breakfasts were great, we loved the burgers & hotdogs around pool area. Never had the lunch buffet & the dinner buffet could use a little upgrade. The drinks & cocktails great. Now the rooms on the outside very nice. The interior bathrooms upgraded & nice. We had a suite & when first walked in were hit with the heat. Only the bedroom had an Ac which was fine when we slept but if you want to relax comfortably after a day in the sun the living room that leads out to balcony was not comfortable cause it was hot as balls. The decor is like a glamping camping trip so maybe that’s why only Ac in bedroom. I did enjoy being a kid again on the slides & the staff are lovely.

Very nice property and nice staff but it’s not on beach and no elevators so you’ll have to take your luggage up several flights of stairs. Especially if on the 3rd floor. The rooms are a nice size but don’t have traditional outlets for charging, they make you pay $6 for an adapter. They only have 1 restaurant which is a buffet that serves the same food everyday. They do have a pizza station and a snack bar but you can’t really get anything until 6pm . Unless you’re not a guest and purchased water park tickets. They have a bbq grill you can use and sushi but you have to pay for it unless you stay for a week. The pools close by 5pm and dinner ends @9pm. They have no real adult activities going on and you couldn’t even go out because you have nothing around the property.
