This is my preferred hotel, when I’m in the area. The price is good, and the location is perfect for me. I’ve tried other hotels in this price range, and this one is the best. Comfortable rooms, lots of tv channels, lots of nearby dining options.

The room was clean. Parking was good. Staff was nice and attentive to what I asked for. Breakfast was really good. It was fresh and well stocked. I would stay again when I come to Decatur.

This ‘hotel/extended stay’, by far was one of the worst I have ever stayed in my life. The room was constantly stuffy and smelly, aged window units, disgusting dishwasher (I would never use it), stains on everything in the room (chairs, floors, curtains), inside the cabinets were disgusting, refrigerator barely worked and kept things cold (freezer thawed ice). The staff was very inexperienced running the place. Odd charges with room management of funds, requests for high dollar amount for deposit (even though I seen two guests pay with cash) There was rolled up toilet paper stuck in the peephole which says testament to their cleanliness. My bare feet never touched the floor at any given time. At least the bed was comfortable…I will never return.

The communication about a deposit of $200. I had to pay a deposit at check in. In which was not mentioned in the message the hotel sent me confirming my reservations. The room was not the greatest this time. We had to clean the bathroom from hair in the tub and urine around the toilet. The tile on the bathroom floor was cracked the grout was breaking apart.

Im sure it would have been an average stay, if I wasn’t denied a room. Tourist expect their reservation to be ready but not be allowed to check in after driving from St. Louis Missouri to Decatur Illinois at the desk attendant's direction is horrific.

The rooms severely need updated. The chair was so warn it was falling apart. Multiple handles on the dresser broken off. Pull out couch looks like it’s been slept on for 50 years. We will not be returning to this hotel.

I stayed there multiple nights and half of the staff was incredibly friendly and the rest not hospitable at all. In my room, there was personal items left from previous guest, lampshades loose and stained, spots on walls were saturated with something, and phone did not work to call front desk. Upon checkout on last day i requested a late checkout at 1230 and was told another guest was checking in at 1215 when check in time is 3 pm. The property had very few guests for the duration of my stay and verified with housekeepers that there is no way they can properly and correctly clean a room in 15 minutes. Absolute lie for my specific room to be checked into 15 min after checkout and desk agent and manager spoke nothing of the that lie. Oh and also on last evening of stay, I had to terminate multiple roaches that were crawling along wall near refrigerator which I also told management and desk agent about at checkout and didn’t seem to care or be professional or accountable for the lie told to me of late checkout and disregarding my information about roaches in my room. Carol (housekeeper) was amazing to speak with btw. The manager heard my frustration and their staffs choice of what they told me and stepped back to office, didn’t ask about my stay, or care that I was a guest for multiple nights during a slow period. No thank you at checkout and to lastly say anyone can walk in any door at any time including side doors, back door and front especially evening hours. Not secure.
