I stayed at this Holiday Inn for three (3) nights. It was located about an hour away from most of Gros Morne National Park. This hotel was very accommodating by its mission to care of its guests; this hotel's staff was very amicable. I loved the continental breakfasts, which included: cereals, eggs, hash-browns, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cookies, pancakes, toasts, fruits, and many drinks. This gym was fine with some free weights and a few cardio machines. I loved my time at this heated pool with its waterslide; there was also a hot tub. There was plentiful parking, there were meeting rooms, and this hotel had a small store to purchase some basic foods and drinks. The free wi-fi, the elevator, the television, the water pressure, and the room temperature all worked well for me. I had daily room-service, and this hotel was clean. Sometimes, I heard loud children and a few doors slam, but otherwise, this stay was great.

We had a nice big room. Lovely spot. The only drawback was its location. Not easily accessible from the highway or the town. Took a while to get used to routes. Nothing within walking distance.

The location was a bit difficult to find, the (new) GPS didn't find the address listed. It said we arrived when we were at the intersection at the entrance of Bennett. That was the least of the issues. The clerks were nice and polite, but were unable to anything about any problem. At least they were friendly about it. We like to end the day with some TV, many cable channels not working at all, or no sound, and channel 13 the guide wasn't available. The flatscreens were a bit old, small and slow to react to the generic remotes. The Flooring between each level needs to be soundproofed & upgraded. Any movement from the room above could be heard easily. It's a 3AM wake up for people leaving for Toronto, so we were awakened by the people leaving EVERY night at 3AM until around 4AM. Noisy footsteps from the guests above when they are packing to check out at 3:30 am in the morning means anyone sleeping below is kept awake for at least an hour each and every morning of their stay At that point we should have just left, there are plenty of other place, nicer, less expensive and closer to the airport. The food? Strange, but at least lots of it. At the room rental rates it should have been so much better. I'm sure the cooks did as best they could given their budget. Cafeteria style should not have been the only option. At least it was close to a nice restaurant, WingN' it. Nice employees over all, but given no ability to fix issues presented.

The celling/foor's are thin and squeeked when the faimily above us walked around and we could here them talking. They stopped at about 11:00pm and then started walling and talking at 1:50am. The building was not designed to reduce noise between floors.

The stay was ok. The gym is under going renovations which wasnt mentioned on the website, the bed wasnt comfortable and the mini fridge wasnt working. The staff was friendly and had recommendations of things to do in the area
