2nd time at a ITC in India. I definitely recommend staying here or any other establishment. Great service, they accommodate any language. They speak great English. Make sure to tip the hard workers. We tourists can always do better. I love India

The first room the air conditioning was too much and the temperature controller did not work.. after 2 attempts it was finally switched off at 3 am. The room door was opening even in the locked position. The replacement room on the second night was much better and the bed was much better. Food options and variety were good but staff were challenged to service efficiently due to too many guests.

The hotel itself is great. We arrived late around 10 pm for checkin, it was smooth. Our requests to have the room ready with the pullout (traveling for 12 plus hrs and just wanted to sleep as soon as we got there) was not complete but once in the room the staff was efficient and friendly. The buffet in terms of food variety was good but quality is sketch. All days when we came for the buffet, the dining hall staff need some serious training. We were navigating around staff carrying fly swatting equipment, (yes there were a lot big and small flies) brooms. It was disturbing to see more than half of the food open and being open for the flies to feast on. The dining hall staff needs some serious courtesy training. They all seemed unhappy and super stressed working there. We were there for four nights and noticed this on all the mornings. The room was really good, pillows, sheets are clean. The sound proofing is superb, our room was across from the elevators and while concerned about the late night noise, that concern was unfounded. The house keeping staff was extremely friendly and fast. Huge contrast to the dining area and the front office.

So, I have been to this hotel before and never had any issues. This time was different . During my stay, I needed another room for work as I am from Canada and it’s day night difference. Husband wanted to sleep and I had my meetings scheduled. Went to reception and asked a gentleman if they have a room available. He said NO, I checked online and it was showing availability . I showed him that and still he said, It’s not in his system. I said, I will book online and would you be able to check me in? He completely denied. So, I had no choice but use the booked room for my appointment . It was around 11 pm! So, hopefully he will do better for others!
