Very poor service

Check in was unacceptable. Politely told our reserved room, king bed, was not available and we had been switched to two single beds. When I objected the young man said he would check with the room supervisor and left me standing at the counter for twenty minutes. I began to speak with another desk agent who told me that even though you are forced to choose a room, and rooms very in price, your forced choice is not guaranteed. Eventually, after 20 more minutes at the desk we were granted the room we had booked. We were not the only ones with that problem. I spoke with another person who had booked two beds for him and his travel partner and were put in a room with only one. Know that we had booked our room 4 months prior to our visit. Holland America can do better.

Great location near Denali National Park! We had a great room down near the river which had beautiful views. Lots of dining options on site and options across the street as well. Would book it again if going to Denali.

We liked the buses that helped us get around the property. We liked the variety of restaurants and shops. We also liked the activities, games, music, and s’mores offered on the property. It was a beautiful location on the river and very close to Denali National Park.

The property was fine. It was a bit dated and on the edge of shabby for the room condition and furnishings. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff seemed unorganized and not real knowledgeable. The wait staff were all excellent, the expeditors in the lobby were helpful and friendly.
