About Casa van Geest

Our large luxury villa in Denia (Monte Pego district) is ideal for several families, friends or family groups who want to holiday together, but still value the privacy of their own ‘front door’. The villa is only available for rent in July and August.

Offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding mountains, Monte Pego is a popular destination for those looking for a villa with plenty of privacy yet close to the liveliness. The villa is situated in a beautiful location with sea views from all rooms and from all terraces, a spacious luxury villa in the ultimate holiday atmosphere and fully equipped in one of the most beautiful parts of Spain between Alicante and Valencia. And Denia is known for its gastronomy. The quality of the restaurants is therefore perfect, not entirely unimportant during your holiday.

Casa van Geest can accommodate up to 16 people.

The villa consists of 3 units, in total there are 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 outdoor kitchens, an outdoor dining table for up to 16 people and enough sitting, - lounge and sunbeds in the garden and on the various terraces for everyone.
Everything is there, so the kitchen is also equipped with all imaginable necessities. Both Smart TVs offer opportunities for an evening of Netflix or via your own chromecast to watch your favourite series and programmes. And of course there is WiFi throughout the house and on the terraces.

Towels, tea towels, beach towels and bed linen (made beds) are automatically included in the price), as are water and electricity. There is a washing machine, ironing board, iron, clothes rack etc.

Casa van Geest's fixed changeover day is Saturday.

At 100 metres is a gastrobar, where you can have a drink or a bite from the small menu, you can also get the key for the tennis and padel courts here. Rackets are available in the villa.

300 metres away there is a Swiss restaurant, where you can have a delicious meal. The restaurant ‘Residencial’ specialises in various kinds of rösti. Reservations are necessary and the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.

On the other side of Monte Pego is a (new) restaurant ‘Bellavista Monte Pego’ with a fantastic outdoor terrace. They specialise in paellas and grilled meats, whose preparation you can watch from the terrace. They are closed on Mondays. You can also order food there and have it delivered or pick up a large pan of paella or pizza yourself, for example).

The beautiful sandy beaches are 7 km away, so within 10 minutes you are on the beach. The beaches were resurfaced in 2022, so as much as 80 metres of beach. At Devesses beach (the nearest) there are restaurants, bars, a surf school, etc. So plenty of opportunities to enjoy yourself.

Due to differences in level in the garden, the house is not suitable for the disabled.

Dogs are not allowed and the villa is not rented to under 27s (or contact us first).

Although you will probably prefer to stay in and around the villa (is our experience), there are plenty of activities to do nearby and there are several bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby. And by car, you can be at the OlivaNova Golf Club or La Sella in (Jesus Pobre / Denia) in 15 minutes.

Monte Pego borders the Marjal nature reserve (which has not yet been discovered by mass tourism) with even a real hot spring, where you can swim all year round in water of 22 to 23 degrees! And a few kilometres away is the famous Montgó natural park, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the area and go hiking and climbing. The vibrant nightlife and marina of Denia are also just a 15-minute drive away.

The unique thing about our spacious luxury villa in Monte Pego is that you can easily stay there with a group, family or several families and still have the necessary privacy, as the house is divided into 3 parts.
Everything connects to each other and everyone opens onto the large terrace with outdoor kitchen, pergola with large table (where everyone can cozy up), the beach beds, lounge area, and beanbags (where you have to do your best not to fall asleep) and of course the insane infinity pool with seating area (probably the best place to have a cocktail in all of Spain), shallow water platform and infinity edge.

We call the 3 parts of the house Casa (max 8 people), Apartment (max 6 people) and Studio(max 2 people) for convenience. We will give you an idea of all the rooms and outdoor areas below. Outdoor areas
Of course you are looking for a villa with a swimming pool, but you won't find one like this any time soon. The infinity edge of the pool is of course beautiful But the pool also has a shallow end and of course the bench in the corner, where you can enjoy a cocktail. The length of the pool (9 metres) also makes it fun to swim lanes. Not in the mood for a swim, there is also an outdoor shower in the same style. In short, whatever you want, you will enjoy it!

There is a dining table under the pergola, where you can all sit together. The covering of the pergola and the curtains make this a place to enjoy together, whether you are eating, playing a game or just sitting and enjoying your holiday.

The outdoor kitchen downstairs and upstairsIn summer, this is the place to cook and be together. The outdoor kitchen has a large grill where you can bbq together. There is a large fridge. There is also plenty of worktop and a spacious bar with bar stools.

Casa
Living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a naja (covered terrace). Up to 8 people can sleep here (and a cot if necessary).

The kitchen is fully equipped. With a dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, an oven, a hood and a ceramic 4-burner hob, you have all the appliances you need. In addition, lots of extras.

In the living room there is a lovely corner sofa to relax or enjoy with a good book or watch Netflix or link your own chromecast to the Smart TV and follow your own programmes. There is also a playstation 4.

The bedrooms: There are 3 bedrooms in this part of the house. Two bedrooms have a double bed and one bedroom has a single bed and a 3-person bunk bed. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning. The windows of the bedrooms have shutters.

There are 2 bathrooms in this part of the house.

The naja (covered terrace) has beautiful sea views on one side and wide views of the greenery on the other. There is a small bar, a lounge seat with fire table and a dining table for 4. This is also a lovely place to work for a while or just sit one out.

Flat
A complete flat with kitchen (with hob, oven and fridge) and the corner sofa can easily be turned into a comfortable sofa bed. Up to 6 people can sleep here, 2 in the master bedroom and 4 in the living room (bed and sofa bed).
This also makes it such a fine house to stay in with several families or relatives. You are all together but still have your own place and privacy, if you want to retreat to your own part of the house for a while.

Studio
A bedroom with bathroom. Up to 2 people can sleep here.
The studio bedroom has a 160 x 200 double bed and sea views. Access to the studio is via a sliding glass door (with roller shutter and folding door screen). The bathroom
The bathroom is luxurious and very modern with walk-in shower, toilet and custom-made furniture.
