The hotel is well-located and well set-up. However, I do think that it is slightly overpriced and the food is also quite expensive. Staff were really nice though and the pool area was also nice.

A Perfect Stay at Maya Sanur Bali – Can’t Wait to Return! I stayed at Maya Sanur during the King’s Birthday weekend, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless and welcoming. I booked a Lagoon Access Room and absolutely loved it—stepping right into the water from my room felt like a dream. The staff were exceptional—kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Their warmth and hospitality made the stay even more special. I dined at both Ruu and Kuu, and each meal was fantastic—delicious food, beautifully presented, with an atmosphere that’s both elegant and relaxed. And of course, drinks at the Tree Bar with snacks on the beach? The perfect way to spend a sunset in Bali. It really doesn’t get better. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be booking the Lagoon Room again—highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape in Sanur.

Incredible stay! Staff are so attentive and personable. We came down for breakfast on our second morning and was greeted with them remembering our room number and names! Just so lovely. Pool is also really nice and rooms are spacious and immaculate.

Great hotel, fabulous location. Restaurants and breakfast were high quality and staff were attentive. Room layout and comfort (nest suite) was fabulous but was let down by needing attention and repairs to closet area. Sliding door and drawers could not be used. Our stay was short but lack of attention to basic functionality in that area was disappointing.

Amazing but let down by shower

This felt like a true 5 star hotel, there were people playing instruments in the lobby, service was great, sun beds had table service. Rooms were very nice. However what let it down for us was that the showers had no hot water. We only stayed 1 night and were trying to get ready before going out for food so didn’t call reception to try and fix. So this was a shame.
