Magnolia Hotel Denver – Charming but Dated Great downtown location and friendly staff. I was offered water at check-in, and the front desk left a snack, extra water, and a kind note in the room — a thoughtful touch. The small lobby is welcoming, and Harry’s restaurant next door is convenient. The room was spacious with a fridge and microwave, but dated with carpet stains and worn decor. Bed and pillows were lumpy, and the blanket was thin. Walls and doors are thin, though it stayed mostly quiet. Breakfast had good options, plus a coffee and tea bar. Quick room service and efficient elevators were also a plus. Overall, solid service and location with vintage charm, but the rooms could use some updates for comfort.

Kind and warm staff. The lobby and downstairs are nicely put together. My room was in unsatisfactory condition. Stains on the chair, walls, bubbles behind the paint, the bathroom door did not close, the entrance door had a chipped piece of door missing about the size of a quarter that looked like someone attempted to break in at one point (same height as the bolt on the other side). Finally, the bathroom sink had scratches all over it that looked like hair but were just dark scratches. It felt unclean (although the linen felt clean). I’m just surprised it passed the criteria for 4 stars. My room was 2 stars. The lobby was 4 stars and the kind staff as well. Will not be returning.

The valet was a bit pricey but very convenient. The hotel was awesome. Staff amazing. The street was busy so it was very loud at night.
