Booked a room during the holidays through a travel website and it did not mention the fact that the property was under major construction. I wish that had been disclosed. The front entrance was not usable, the parking garage was a mess and it wasn’t clear where to even enter the building. The walls in the rooms are unbelievably thin; I know because the guest in neighboring room kept the TV on all day and night, playing a range of shows from Christmas vacation to straight up porn. I asked to change rooms and they did move me to another floor. I asked the front desk on my third night if housekeeping could take out the trash and bring towels to my room. When I returned at the end of the day no one had come. I asked again and they did come the next day. The hotel overall is run-down, there are exposed wires along the hallway ceilings and on both floors 9 and 10 there was a faint raw sewage smell. There are dozens of hotels nearby- I should have looked around more.
