Beautiful house

Wonderful home

We had a lovely three night stay at the Roxbury cabin. The home was about twenty minutes to Belleayre. Website was accurate and the rooms were spacious and everything was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay her again.

Vrbo Review: Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property over Thanksgiving weekend! It truly felt like a home away from home for our family. The kitchen was a standout—exceptionally well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare our holiday meal. The spacious rooms were filled with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone had plenty of space to relax and enjoy themselves. The check-in process was seamless, making our arrival stress-free. The location was ideal, and the property was immaculate and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Wonderful stay!

We rented the home for the month of January to be close to Bellaeyre Mt. It was an easy drive to the mountain every morning. The home easily accommodated our family of 6 and we would absolutely Vrbo this location again. There is not much in the area as far as restaurants so it was wonderful to have a fully functioning kitchen to make our dinners and breakfast. We explored Woodstock, Roxbury, and Prattsville (hiked here). Definitely family friendly.

Nice spot!

TLDR: Great house for a small group to enjoy Skiing! Pros: Clean, check in process easy. Binder on the table had pretty much all the info needed. Good location, 15 min from Belleayre which is why we chose this location. The place was stocked with a lot of things that I was very happy about. For example, dishwasher and laundry pods! Kitchen was fully functional and easy to use with lots of extras like a whisk, a crockpot, other great stuff. Checkout process was good, towels put into the shower, take out the garbage, thermostat set to 55, all reasonable. Cons: Light in the bedroom downstairs was non-functional so that room was dark. Upstairs shower door didn't close all the way so water leaked out and had to be cleaned up every time someone showered. They advertised that there was firewood however the cabana only had a few pieces so we had to make a separate trip out to buy it. Also, there are mousetraps in there and that was not in the binder. When we went in it was dark and I almost stepped on one since we were going by flashlight. Water temperature on the lower side, water pressure on the lower side, however, it is a well system so they are limited in terms of their supply. The instructions said to put recyclables in a clear plastic bag but there were no clear plastic bags to be found. The nest thermostat kept resetting the 68 degrees which was too cold for my kids. I increased it to 72 but it kept resetting to 68.

Great spot for a ski weekend

The cabin was a perfect place to stay for a family ski weekend. We skied at belleyre which was a 15 minute drive. We were less than 10 minutes from Roxbury which had a few super cute shops and restaurants. The house was comfortable and super clean. It felt new and fresh and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. We loved the mushroom area to store ski boots and coats. We would def be back!

Wonderful Stay!

Booked this cabin with extended family to ski at nearby Belleayre Mountain. It's a short 15 minute drive to the mountain. The house has a great Swiss chalet look to it with vaulted ceilings on the second floor. Great floor plan in kitchen/living room area. Comfortably slept 8 of us. Thank you Esther!

The property looked exactly like the pictures. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Only thing I would recommend is to make sure both showers aren’t being used at the same time.

The property is well de orated. However there are things that don’t work. The main issue is the water as only one person can take a bath at a time otherwise no water will come out from the shower. I mentioned to the property manager and she was great in terms of explaining and trying to find solutions However for the water they might need to get a plumber and see how to work with water pressure around the house. Other appliances were not working (toaster broken) and some light fixtures. With better quality appliances the property would be better

Beautiful house

The house is beautiful, and the location is fifteen minutes from Stone Tavern Farm- an easy drive. We had a problem with the upstairs shower which leaked terribly. The property manager was great and had two plumbers there within a couple of hours; however, we couldn’t use the shower for twenty four hours so getting seven people showered for a wedding was a challenge. I thought we should have received some compensation for the inconvenience. Also, as stated in an earlier review, the kitchen is not stocked with an adequate amount of glasses-2-, coffee mugs- 4 or 5 and flatware. Eight people for a weekend really need more and that can be easily remedied. Beds were great, towels, etc. all as described.

Perfect Ski Getaway

This well maintained and charming Catskill home is perfect for a secluded getaway. We actually booked the home for a second weekend. The home has some wonderful qualities. The upstairs bedroom is spacious and has a plentiful amount of daylight. The living room and kitchen are ideal for board games and relaxing after the slopes. It’s just missing a wood stove!
