Newly built addition to a classic Victorian home creates a 1 bedroom basement apartment located in the trendy Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver. The hosts live on premise. The apartment features an open living, dining and kitchen area with a queen size sofa sleeper and TV. The bedroom is located off of the living area in the original basement (ie lower ceiling) of the home and includes a queen size bed. The bathroom is stocked with linens, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer. The apartment can fit up to 4 people comfortably.

Pets(1) are welcome for an additional $50 fee paid directly to the hosts.

The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker (and coffee!) and all the necessary kitchen utensils to whip up breakfast or dinner. Or, if you don't feel like cooking, mossy over to one of the numerous restaurants, coffee houses and bars located a stones throw away on 44th ave or Tejon St.

The outdoor space includes a semi-private sitting area with propane firepit. Guests are also allowed to use the pergola, seating, and hottub located in the common area of the patio and back yard. Fireplace is for host use only.

The Sunnyside neighborhood is located approximately 3 miles Northwest of Downtown Denver with easy access to I25 and I70, making easy transit to the mountains and Denver International Airport. The home is located steps from public transportation that can whisk you away to Union Station to catch the train to Denver International Airport or Downtown to visit 16th Street Mall. The property features its own entrance but shares a common side yard with the owner's home located on the 1st and 2nd floor. You may hear footsteps from the rooms above but we are generally very quiet.
During your stay at this apartment building, you'll be within walking distance of Denver Mountain Parks. You'll find features such as 1 hot tub. The apartment includes amenities such as a kitchen and a balcony.

Very nice for the price

Space was clean with just enough amenities. Hot tub was very nice! I felt a little awkward using it as host and family are on site, although we barely heard or saw them, and when we did, Derrick was very pleasant and insured us he would not bother us at all. Space was a little small but as described. I would recommend to friends!

A great, quiet little place to stay while on a budget. Didn’t feel like we had to sacrifice quality on our trip and that meant a lot to us. The outdoor space is already great and has even more potential when the stone fire area is back in working condition. If you are ok with being on the outskirts of the city main attractions, you won’t regret booking.

A better neighborhood could not be found! We began our mornings with strolls to the local park. In the evenings we enjoyed food and drinks within walking distance. The beautiful, sunny yard was a great spot to relax in the hot tub. The interior was welcoming, clean and comfortable. We greatly appreciated the additional amenities. We look forward to staying here again.

Perfect Location, Perfect Place!

This was exactly what I needed. Clean, location was pretty great. Easily got around town by car or train. Host was timely with responses and kind. I traveled alone, and having an entire family upstairs from me was pretty comforting and made me feel safe . Will stay again!
