The room was heavily neglected. Both times we stayed, we got a room with a balcony, which was dirty. The biggest issue is the toilet seats!! After our first stay, we told the housekeeper on the way out about the toilet seat needing to be attached properly.
On our second stay, in a DIFFERENT room, the toilet seat was not attached properly AGAIN! I almost got thrown off when I sat down the first time. This stay was for 2 nights, on a weekend, and there was no one to fix it!
The room was SO dark, we couldn't see anything after the sun set at 5PM.
We ate at your restaurants both times, shopped the jewelry store, and all were nice, but our safety and comfort in the rooms are much more important that food and jewelry. We felt neither comfort nor safety. The rooms really need a deep cleaning. On our second stay, the drapes (that ones don't close) were covered in some dark, sticky substance. I don't even want to know what it was! Eeeww. In addition to all of this, the front desk clerk must either hate her job, or hate customers. Her English language communication skills are extremely lacking, as is her ability to be POLITE and offer even moderately good customer service. Her rotten attitude alone was enough to make us not even consider coming back.
We spoke about the TV remote not working on our way out, but declined her offer to go in our room WHILE WE WERE GONE because my husband is on dialysis and severely immunocompromised She went in anyway, and I have camera footage of it.
