This was a fairly cheap option from Denver Intl Airport. I arrived at the airport at 10:30pm, took over half an hour to collect baggage and I was conscious of getting to the hotel before reception closed at midnight so i took a taxi, which i’m fairly sure was a rip off price ($40). The hotel has transport but never responded to my message about this so I could not avail of it on the way to the hotel at that time of night. The hotel itself was good, a little noisy with other customers but nothing out of the ordinary. The free breakfast was actually fairly good, check out time was midday and they had transport to the airport every 30-ish minutes. Overall, the pros greatly outweighed the cons, especially for an overnight necessity.

Average stay. Comfy bed but we noticed the condition of this hotel was less than what we expect at a Hilton. When we arrived coffee was empty and even at breakfast. The breakfast was underwhelming with plastic looking eggs and undercooked white colored hashbrowns. I’ve had much better at other Tru locations.

Clean room with good bathroom lighting and decent counter space. Walls might be kind of thin bc I could hear neighbors at 1 am and again at 5:30am.

Frustration

I found the carpeted halls very challenging for moving suitcases. The staff reacted quickly by moving me to a different location. I had every light in the bedroom on, and could not find sufficient light to read by, which is how I relax. I was disappointed that the "restaurant" was a bar that served food. As a single senior female traveling alone, a bar is not a comfortable place. I looked at the Mexican restaurant menu, but could not find anything that was a smaller portion that wasn't very spicy. I wound up buying a chicken salad sandwich, which I was able to keep in the room refrigerator. I expected a breakfast buffet, but found I had to order from the restaurant again. I bought a smoothie from the cooler. So, the food options were different, but I was glad that I did have some choices. The shuttle was great. I planned to stay there again on my return flight, but cancelled the reservation and booked at the Hilton Garden Inn instead.
