Hotel indigo was great, came to town for a game at ford field so wanted somewhere relatively close. Staff were always nice and helpful and room and everything was nice and clean. Plus having an onsite bar and restaurant was nice when the snow hit. Overall would certainly stay again next time I’m in town.

I arrived at the Indigo, and was Immediately neet by a valet who Informed me of arrival procedures, directed me to a lovely receptionist named Sara who took care of me like family. I'm completely Impressed by my stay, the staff, and especially, Ms. Sara. Thank you.

We arrived at 4. Check in was 4. We had to wait outside in the freezing snow in a line almost wrapped around the building. Once inside finally try to check in they tell us we have to wait till 530 no rooms were clean. We didn't get in till 630. We were late to our concert had to miss dinner. Get home from concert can not charge my phone because only 2 plugs worked. Wake up in morning ask for face towels they tell us no clean towels. This was the worst experience I ever had and I travel often.

Came to check in at 4:30 p.m. and couldn't get the room I booked over a month ago. I waited 45 minutes to be told our room wasn't ready. Our event started at 7 p.m., so we had to get ready in the bathroom. When I left, I was fourth in line. I got a call during the concert and called back, confirming that we still had a room waiting upon our arrival. At about 1:30 a.m., I was told our room had been given away and that it would be a few minutes, 5 to 10. It ended up being a guy who was drunk and harassing my daughters, getting really close to them, and security was letting it happen. When we finally got to the room, we had no blankets. The air conditioner was on, and it wouldn't change to heat mode. I ended up going and getting the blankets and overpaid for snacks that took 15 minutes to pay for. The room was okay, but by the time I laid down after everything, it was 4 a.m., and I was highly upset. I didn't have a place to get ready, shower, or eat before my event, and then I was exhausted getting back and was even more mad my room was given away. I record all conversations on the phone, so I was reassured that our room would be ready, and it was not. Definitely not a good experience. Don't stay here if there's more than one event going on in Detroit. I probably will not stay here ever again. Ended up with 50% but will definitely do research if something like that happens i have a back up willofrefund.

I can't fully review this property because we never got assigned a room. We did not have a place to rest after our drive from Chicago and I had to change for my event in a public bathroom. The hotel had an issue with turning over rooms, so we left around 7 pm because we felt the situation was handled poorly.
