Staff is WONDERFUL -- friendly and helpful. Location cannot be beat! Walk to a lot of great food, drinks and sports/music. Cool vibe inside. Didn't do the Candy Bar, but looked super hip and fun. Our room had a mildew smell...I think they need to work on the exhaust system for the bathroom. We were able to open the bath window and asked for a fan. So, while not a deal breaker, as we were gone a lot, wanted to mention. Our bed was very comfortable and room was super clean. Nice that they have all the toiletries supplied in large containers, so points for being green! I would def come back.

The hotel has a retro motif. I loved that it was affordable and a 4 minute walk to Comerica Park. The area around the hotel has several restaurants and bars and seemed very safe.

The Siren was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the location, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, the proximity to Comerica Park, and The Candy Bar located in the hotel.

The property is very unique. Reminded me of an old time hotel but modernized. Very clean and staff was friendly. Located downtown and walkable to several restaurants and attractions. I will stay again when visiting.

Location and service great, rooms horrible.

The room I was given was moldy and not clean. The smell was strong right when you got off the elevator on the 13th floor. It seems it’s been an issue for awhile but hasn’t been addressed. If they give you room 1305 ask to switch immediately. I was congested the whole trip due to the mold. I was switched to a room next door on the same floor so I was still close to the contaminated areas. The chairs in the room were for a doll house and sink down when you sat in them. The beds were very uncomfortable. The location was good for the concert I attended and the staff was very friendly, but the rooms were below average. For the price and the conditions, I don’t feel my money was well spent.

Very unique vibe! Definitely not a cookie cutter hotel, absolutely perfect for a night or two stay to explore downtown Detroit. Simplistic sleeping room, not designed for hanging out, was perfect for our needs!
