The Dilliard House is a beautiful place in a quiet location. There was a bonfire on Saturday night with free s'mores kits. There's rocking chairs on the patio of each room. The room was nice and cozy. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't open yet, and there was some construction. This would be a great place for a retreat or a reunion.

Don't do it......

1st,it looks much better online that it actually is in person. It is run down. 2nd, I am now fighting an unauthorized charge for almost $300 the office made to my account they deny when the charge clearly says it is from The Dillard House. The farm itself is a bit scenic, yet I would never stay there again.

Dillard House is old school classic luxury!

What a perfect spot for a last minute getaway!!! Classic comfort and style. The covered porches and rockers were the bonus!! Great staff! This has been one of the best getaways we’ve ever taken!!!

I have always wanted to stay at this location and I am so excited that I did. The room was VERY spacious and had a wonderful, peaceful balcony you could sit and enjoy nature. The surrounding area was very beautiful and you are able to walk around and enjoy a peaceful stroll without the business of traffic. The BEST part is you get to eat at the Dillard House, which is an experience in itself. I have eaten here many times and they never disappoint!!! Checking in was very easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Just note Dillard is a small mountain town, so if you are looking for the hype of a city town you are not going to find it here. If you want to relax and enjoy a quiet retreat this is your place. I highly recommend this location.

Amazing getaway

The property was so beautiful! The rooms could use some updating but that added to the charm. The restaurant was delicious and you never left hungry. We went horseback riding in the river and had the best time! Our tour guide Megan was friendly and made us feel comfortable. We had so much fun and can’t wait to go back! The only complaint I have about the room is the ac wasn’t the best. It was hot in our room and the ac barely ran even after we turned it down. Overall we had an amazing time at Dillard House and we can’t wait to return!

All very good except for a giant spider I found in the bathroom at midnight. Considering the outdoor environment and the facility age, it is understandable but should get attention. My wife may get so scared and change a room immediately, if she came with me this time.

20 plus years since I last visited.

Definitely not been updated since I last visited. Musky odor in both rooms I rented. I was sadly disappointed that a place I always loved to visit is not thriving. Poor quality food and didn't have what they noted on the website and menu. They ran out they said.
