We had a wonderful time. There was something for everyone..the kids loved the pool, we loved sitting by the fires and wandering the hotel for cosy spots and everyone loved the walk. The staff were so friendly. We definitely wanto to do christmas again at Wotton.

On arrival we found everything beautiful, our room very comfortable. Sad to say we felt you let your side down in the dinning room. Our order seem to take ages to arrive. No one took unwanted glasses from our table hence table became very full. Our starter meal served, then for nearly an hour plus & after members of our family group informing a waiter , were are still waiting for our MAIN COURSE . Eventually we were served. We also asked for jugs of water after a considerable time of waiting our Son decided to get it himself. Main meal delivered without our starter plates being collected. Waiter had 2 plates of food to deliver & had to place them on another table to start to collect our empty starter plates. I speaking about my meal which I found it to be cold on arrival that applies to others feeling the same. I am part of the Booking for our Daughters 50th Birthday Celebration. On Wednesday 24th Dec . At some point I phoned to ask about a birthday cake spoke to a member of your staff in the run up to the party being booked. I asked if we were allowed to bring a birthday Cake to the Hotel. At that point I was told that they will look into organising a birthday cake nothing happened about that. ? The booking : A party of 10 family member booked by our Son-in-Law Chris Wells & or Our Son Stephen Pellicci re the Christmas Day Booking. Not enough staff & tables to close together making the waiters serving & dangerous Regards Mr Amos & Rita Pellicci.

We stayed in a premium room, very comfortable large bed, large room, lovely bathroom. Location is excellent, quiet and rural but close to dorking town. Would highly recommend and we will return one day.

All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. We have stayed at the hotel a few times now and you always feel welcome and like nothing you ask is too big. It feel very safe and my friend is in a wheelchair and can get around easily and use all the facilities. It is definitely a place we will be coming back too!

The hotel itself was amazing. Reception staff were friendly and made checking in and out a breeze. The bar and restaurant were both aesthetically beautiful to spend time in, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We stayed in a basic room- the decor was lovely and it was ample for what we needed for our 1 night stay. The issues we found were that the bed was extremely squeaky and loud, you couldn't move without a huge amount of noise. My husband's side of the bed sloped- likely it was broken underneath or the springs had gone, so he found he was falling out in the night. The window frame was covered in mould from condensation that had never been cleaned off. It was all over the frame and really needed to be cleaned. The room was very hot with zero heating on- this might be a positive for some people, for us it was a bit too warm and I slept without the duvet and the window open which in the middle of December seems unheard of! The other disappointment was that the health spa facilities were unexpectedly closed in the morning so after breakfast we were unable to use them as planned. This was very disappointing for us, we booked the hotel based on the facilities and had planned to use the pool before checking out. We were not warned in advance of the closure. Overall the hotel is wonderful, just the room requires a few things to be fixed, then it would have been perfect. We would visit again, but probably only when we could afford to stay in a higher spec room.

Wotton House is a wonderful venue for weddings and casual stays. The staff were friendly and attentive; including a late check out to take in another swim.
