Perfect location
The location was excellent. There are several grocery stores nearby, as well as bakeries where you can easily buy breakfast in the morning. There’s also a local market with fresh fruit and other produce within walking distance.
The apartment is very close to Pile Gate and Buža Beach, and everything in the Old Town is easily accessible on foot. Although it’s located right in the heart of the city, the apartment was surprisingly quiet and peaceful.
One thing that could be improved is the check-in information. We were not informed in advance that our apartment was on the top floor (the attic level), which meant carrying our luggage up several flights of stairs. Knowing this beforehand would have been helpful.
The self check-in instructions could also be clearer. There were many key lockboxes, and it wasn’t immediately obvious which one contained our key. After finding it, I also wasn’t clearly told which apartment number was ours. I first tried opening Apartments 1 and 2 because the key fit into the locks, but it wouldn’t turn, which was confusing. Clearer instructions about the correct lockbox and apartment number would make the arrival process much smoother.
