Dreadful smell spoiled our stay

I noticed when I booked this apartment in beautiful Dubrovnik, that there were no reviews to read. I will not make this mistake again. The apartment was fine but the sewage smell from the bathrooms was overpowering. We wrote to Direct Booker but they never responded to my email. We purchased disinfectant and cleaned the bathroom waste drain, then lay towels over the drain and kept doors closed to stop the smell. We love Dubrovnik and the friendly people but I cannot recommend booking with Direct Booker or this apartment to anyone else.
