The best gaming resort in the DMV minus the crowd and traffic. Loved the decor, the King Suite, the best food court, not your standard food court. The1609 Restaurant gets another 5 stars, the food was outstanding and perfectly cooked. Perfect for a romantic getaway, night out or retreat. My new favorite place in VA!

The Rose Gaming Resort

This resort is a great place to visit. The room was great; the employees were warm and welcoming. Great price. The morning, we checked out, there was a continental breakfast hanging on the door. It contained a breakfast bar, orange juice, orange and or apple and a large muffin. When we checked in, we received 2 large bottles of water. This is a great place to stay and enjoy yourself.

Disappointed

The hotel was decent. However, it is not a 4 star hotel as advertised when I booked my stay. Also most of the restaurants were closed during my stay, given the low occupancy rate. That was disappointing. I wanted to try 2 of them. In addition the hotel only has one sit down restaurant which is only open Thursday to Sunday. The rest are set up like your local mall foodcourt. The hotel is also unnecessarily rigid on certain matters despite their low occupancy. As an example I asked for a robe and was told inly guests that book a suite get robes. Given the hotel appaered to have a 5% occupancy rate it would have better to let me know that generally the hotel only offers suite guests a robe but if a robe was available they'd send one to my room. I would have appreciated that. There is no valet parking when there is a low occupancy rate at the hotel. The gaming area was like a ghost town. Long story short, I'm unlikely to stay at thehotel again.
