The Blue Door Cottage

Welcome to our Blue Door Cottage! A picturesque setting is the first thing you will notice as you drive in to our Cottage.
We are located within minutes of Sugarcreek, Berlin, and Walnut Creek. After spending your day in Amish Country, come home to peace and quietness where you can watch your favorite movie or enjoy a cup of coffee out on the deck.
If you want to cook, there’s a full kitchen with everything you need. But there are so many wonderful restaurants in the area, you just may not want to cook at all!
We cannot wait to give you an unforgettable experience at our Blue Door Cottage.
We are located on site but far enough away from the Cottage for you to enjoy your privacy.
We love people and hosting you is our greatest joy!

This cottage is so cute and lovely! Very clean and had all the necessities for a week or a few days stay. I spent a lot of time on the deck by the wooded area of the cottage reading and writing and listening to the birds. There is a small creek too. The cottage had a nice kitchen, living room, bathroom and a bedroom upstairs. I had some issues with the connection with the internet to watch tv at night, but the owner, Karen, was very quick responding and the matter resolved itself. I had a great breakfast at Amish Country Donut & Cafe and bought some sourdough donuts, cinnamon roll, and cookies to bring back home. I had a delicious lunch at Cafe 93 at the Dundee Marketplace and spent over an hour hiking at Dundee Falls at Beach City Trail. The falls were beautiful and it was great hiking and taking in the beautiful scenery. This was a much needed R & R trip. I am so glad I found this cute cottage to stay!

We stayed here after a severe winter storm. The walkway was cleared both when we got there and before we left the next morning. This was very kind and thoughtful and very much appreciated. The property was beautiful, even in the winter. Hoping to visit this summer too. Thank you for your hospitality.

It was a very pleasant experience to stay at the Blue Door Cottage. The owners are very friendly and make the experience very easy. The cottage was very clean and felt warm and comfortable and the side deck was a great place to sit and relax with a view of some woods. The Amish oriented towns of Millersburg and Berlin are a short, picturesque drive from the cottage. I highly recommend this as a great choice!

What a charming little cottage perfect for 2 people. The entire process was easy and seamless. This was the first time booking through VRBO but will not be the last! The hosts were great! I loved that we had everything we needed if we decided to cook or do wash. Also nice to have a fridge to store your meats and cheeses in until checkout. It was very clean and the bed was super comfortable! With the early sunsets it was nice to spend the evening watching a movie with the electric fireplace feature build into the TV cabinet while cuddling up on the couch and sampling your finds from the day! Will definitely return again. Thank you Troyers for sharing your place with us. Grateful
