We checked in and had a great meal of fish and chips with mushy peas. It was delicious. The cheesecake and berries and the sticky pudding were delightful. They ordered us a taxi and gave us a card to help us order a taxi back which really helped.

The view out the window. Stayed in room most of the time, was able to relax as had a bereavement in family and had been looking after dad who has cancer so felt like a nice weekend break away from home!

The carpet was very old, it was holed in parts and certain sections had come loose. The room had a strange smell that we couldn't get rid of even with the window open for the duration of our stay.

Don´t let pictures fool you, this is a very runned down hotel, with moisty smell and full of old people. It is far from the city centre and, if you don´t have a car, transportation is very limited as they are few taxis around.

I called to ask when i had to be there to get evening meal as i was running late, i was told 8.15, on arrival at 8pm i was told the kitchen was closed. Night 2, Curry was dreadful, had better from a Tesco meal deal. No WIFI so couldn't work, wont be back

Stayed for 2 nights, arriving Friday early evening, was advised WiFi not working but should be fixed within a couple of hours, checked Saturday morning, still not working, had to leave hotel and head into town to get WiFi so i could complete my work, stayed out from 9am-9pm. Checked out earlier than we planned to on Sunday due to the above. When checking out, there was no one at reception, waited 5 mins, leisure attendant advised someone on way, girl from bar area advised someone on way, no one came, so left key at reception and walked out. Never used restaurant due to being out because of WiFi situation, used pool area Sunday early morning, all was good there. Huge potholes in overspill car park entrance, hard to avoid.

On check in waited for a good ten minutes before being dealt with and was told wifi was down but could we please have your rego so we can charge you for parking. Told him i couldn't remember but will come back with it, on return had to wait nearly 15 minutes to be served. We went to bed at about 10:30pm and when i turned the covers down we found 3 dirty stain marks, this caused the wife and i to sleep on top of the covers fully dressed. Also on check we were told that the wifi may beworking again today but not sure, later on talking to other guests they told us the wifi had been down for 3 days. I complained on checking out and was told to email the manager which i did also attaching a pic of the stains, now 3 days later and not heard anything. Won't be staying there again and that is a certainty

No wifi throughout the whole stay which is not good enough in today's world. Staff claimed it was getting sorted but no sign of that. Restaurant ran out of multiple items from the menu despite not being particularly busy. Restaurant staff were very pleasant although food was average and slow to arrive.

A very dated hotel with threadbare carpets and screws holding the shower together. £7.99 for a ham sandwich!! and three bar staff who completely ignored me as I stood waiting to be served.

Stayed for one night to attend concert at slessor gardens. Lovely comfy room, spotlessly clean. Enjoyed a swim/ sauna in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel with fantastic staff and beautiful grounds. Decor is fab but carpets a little tired which hardly detracts from the "niceness" of everything. The bath and shower are absolutely superb! Didn't like the pay to park which was not mentioned in the Expedia listing - but the staff, ever helpful, comped me on the parking which was a brilliant bit of extra service. Food in the on-site restaurant is delicious and a well thought out varied menu to suit all appetites and tastes. Beware the Inca cocktail - it is absolutely lethal and far too refreshing. Luckily it wasn't far to crawl "home". As a solo female traveller, I was made to feel welcome, treated so well, and felt safe and happy for my whole 4 day stay. I will definitely be back to the Landmark for all my Dundee visits which will be frequent.
This drink should have a warning label on the glass - It's delicious, but lethal... The Inca something or other. Yum and way too more-ish.
Beautiful architecture and a property steeped in history. The grounds and trees are magnificent.
