Nice, clean, modern hotel in a great location. The gym was a nice bonus and we really enjoyed the breakfast which offered lots of choice in a lovely room with views out to sea. Would definitely recommend and will return.

There were hairs in the bath and lack of sufficient tea, coffee and milk in the room. My husband couldn’t have a shower as he couldn’t get the thing working. Cooked Breakfast wasn’t very warm either.

Every single member of staff was amazing, polite and professional. We had a sea facing room and got to watch the sun rise. The glass shields you from the cold wind! I have a milk allergy and staff were very helpful with talking me through options for breakfast. Would stay here again!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with our stay, especially considering what we paid and were expecting more based on the good reviews. Check-in was quite slow, as there was only one person at reception. When it was finally our turn, the staff member offered minimal information—no mention of the check-out time, whether breakfast was included, or where it would be served. When I got to the room, I realized I had no guidance at all. The room itself felt outdated, and while the bed wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t particularly comfortable either—just about fine for one night. On the positive side, breakfast was decent and the location is good. However, overall, the experience didn’t meet expectations, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Thank you for a fantastic stay. Wonderful view overlooking the beach, ocean and the pier. Fantastic sunrises. Tasty English AND continental breakfast. A daily special in the breakfast would give the otherwise very good breakfast a special note and some variation, especially for guests staying for more than a week (like I did). Maybe kippers every third day or a different kind of cold sliced meat or cheese every third day or black pudding once or twice a week.
