A lovely hotel, super friendly staff and in a great location. Ate in the restaurant one evening which was excellent. Only downside is without a car you are a bit in the middle of nowhere! Make sure you book for dinner in advance as one night I couldn’t get a table.

We had a great experience at Molskroen Strandhotel. The staff was nice and service minded, the bed was very comfortable, and the food in the Brassiere was amazing. The only thing I can comment on, was the breakfast. The breakfast staff was very disorganised, they didn’t fill up the buffet without guest asking for it, and they were also a bit rude. But the second day it was a whole different experience! Great breakfast, the buffet was filled and the staff was nice. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Hidden Gem near Ebeltoft

They have there own very good restaurant which is also popular with the locals. High class dining in a lovely surrounding. Warm and attentive staff

Nice location ruined by poor service and food

This was a nice setting but the overall experience was made unenjoyable due to the attitude of the restaurant staff and the substandard quality of the food for the price. The restaurant accused me on arrival of not having made a reservation, even though there were ample tables available. I indicated I had an email confirmation of the reservation from the concierge, but he then indicated he didn’t need to see it and would sort something out. Basically, indicating that he didn’t believe me but was being somehow benevolent. Food was very average though it was one of the most expensive meals we had during the trip at over 100 Euros per person. I’d also like to give the context that my one week visit to Denmark was wonderful with great food, service and museums. This was the single low point of the week.

Very good stay.

Nice and relaxing stay with good outings to Mols Hills, Ebeltoft, Fregatten Jylland, Glassworks and Kalø Slotsruin. Also food food and vines at the hotel.

Fantastic restaurants. Lovely streets in Ebeltoft for strolling, shops, dining. The only negative is the shower is too small and the shower curtain clings. Ewww.

Nice stay!

Good hotel at the edge of town. Rather a hike into town, but bikes available for rent (but we did not use). Room is clean and comfortable. Bed is firm. Bath is three piece w shower, no tub. Elevator is outside, a little funky, but we used it only for getting luggage up and down. Otherwise we used the stairs. Free parking and free wifi. Property has two restaurants -- used both -- and both are good. Wait staff in both places were friendly, helpful with menu, and very accommodating. Breakfast is buffet style with eggs available from the kitchen. Nice lounge area were we carried coffee and cordials. Would stay again. Credit card users: prepare for a surcharge!

Nicest place around and beautiful location!!! Love the fine details of the hotel and you will feel like you are at a 5 star hotel. No AC though, like most of Denmark.
