Excellent walkable location. Staff was very helpful and it was 5 min walk from the train station. Rooms were a nice size and very clean. Nice to have sauna and spa on site.

This hotel was a great location to base our day trips in and around Edinburgh. We had a lovely dinner there as well. Extremely convenient to the train station and everyone was very friendly.

Very disappointing.

Room overlooked dozens of garbage bins (picked up very early in the morning). This area doubled as the smoking and chatting area for restaurant staff late at night. Mattress was clearly old and lumpy. Throw blanket was stained. Spa was fine but no hot tub/Jacuzzi and robes had to be rented for a fee. You even need a pound coin to use the spa lockers. Overall more like a 2 star hotel and nowhere near worth the price. Location was at least good.

Nice sized room and bath, all in good condition. Bed was firm. Restaurant food was good- a convenient option, but there's better values within walking distance. Only complaint is that the coffee is horrible. However, we'd stay here again.

Staff went above and beyond - so helpful and friendly! Lovely quiet spacious room, comfy beds, bath and shower and toiletries fabulous! Delicious breakfast, again such friendly staff in dining room. We also enjoyed the pool and steam room. Excellent location.

This hotel had a luxurious experience, from the staff, the quality of the bed. The restaurant being the most delicious food ever. And you can walk anywhere! Great location . I left and we missed it so much Thank you for making our wedding week so special. They help me so much when my bridal party was getting ready in my room. Great great service!
