Location excellent, friendly staff, rooms ok. Limited space to store clothes. Fairly quiet. Recommend to book directly with the hotel. The breakfast included didn't follow through, 45£ extra a day for the three of us.

Amazing. Cozy quiet room in a five hundred some year old building at the bottom of the Diagon Alley street. Room is new- modern with great amenities. Nice bathroom, comfy bed. A rocket of an hot water kettle. Out the door and in the absolute midst of the Old town scene. Perfect place for walking about and return to the room for a break in between all of the things to see and do here. Three nights here and barely scratched the surface of museums, historic walks, gardens, side trips, foods, all the things! Can’t see a better place to stay if you’re coming to Edinburgh to see the sights. Solo low maintenance very active female traveler.

The room was tiny, and mold was all over the bathroom. You are paying for the area. The area is amazing. However, it is not worth the price.

Staff was awesome I stayed one night and they let me know exactly where I was, gave me tips on where to go and stored my luggage after I checked out for the entire day! Then they let me recharge my phone before taking off for my next stop. Lovely service!

The mattress and bed were horrible. Staff said it was no use to change rooms because they were all the same. Untrained and unprofessional staff with no knowledge of what hospitality entails. Tried to charge me for a breakfast I never had. Said they would email my invoice and I'm still waiting...... Very poor experience overall. itsno use to change rooms b
