There were no information about that the hotel was undergoing renovation loud noise and looks like that the hotel is half done. Our son seven years old had big issues with this. He is diagnosed with ADHD and AUTISM so loud noise and the hotel didn't look as in the picture because the first thing he and WE noticed when we approach the hotel is that it's a building site. He then asked his mom...Mom are we really gonna live here ? Now about the breakfast two things the egg Benedict was rock hard because of the heating lamp. I'm myself is a Chef and egg Benedict should be made on site directly ordered by the customer. And the streaky bacon was to salty and hard. Now about the rooms they were spacious and clean so no problem there. And the staff were very friendly. We think there should be some compensation for this.We paid a lot of for us money for this trip to Edinburgh and and we're disappointed because of this lack of information about the renovations...if we known about this we wouldn't have booked this hotel.
