Was not aware of any notice of building works at the hotel,which resulted in a noisy room due to the wind whipping around the scaffolding. Bar area was needlessly dark, dirty and the food was not good. I can't comment on breakfast, as despite it being included, I was refused access to the buffet, which was probably for the best after the abysmal offering the night before.

Checkin was very quick with gelpful knowledgable staff. The room was a decent size, very comfortable and clean big bathroom spotless. Bedcvery comfy. Bus stop right outside. 8 minute walk with my suitcase to the airport. A bit of noise from traffic and aeroplanes.

I wasn’t expecting it but on arrival there was a personal message on the mirror in the room and a card wishing us a nice stay. It was really nice of the Moxy team to do that, as usual the staff could not have been more helpful. Room had everything needed for a short stay and an early flight

The staff were tremendously helpful. As a Marriott gold member, I was able to access early check-in. I was also able to leave my luggage at the hotel for my return trip on Monday. I felt very welcomed, staff offered a cocktail on arrival. The room was perfect for a lay over - had everything we needed. We stay at this hotel quite often and lots of Moxys in general because the staff are so nice. It is what sets them apart when booking a hotel at EDI airport.
