We decided to get out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday. We have four kids, ages 8-16, and EVERYONE had something to do. From air hockey to the arcade to the myriad of board games throughout the house, there was never a dull moment. We also brought our dog and the fenced in back yard made it easy to let her in and out. The kitchen is fully stocked and there were even drinks and a s’mores package for us upon our arrival. Kristi was an excellent communicator and a wonderful host. Would stay here again.

This home has it all. We never left the property for the 4 days we were there. Very clean, plenty of towels, linens, both upstairs and downstairs kitchens had everything you would need for cooking. The rental had plenty of spices and condiments for items that we forgot to bring. Access across all three levels of the home was easy, especially to access the lower level (you could drive to the lower level to unload or load). Plenty of parking. We can't say enough about the games and activities for both adults and children. The creek was one of our favorite activities, between wading, fishing and kayaking, we spent hours there. The upper and lower outdoor decks offered plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the outdoors. With 2 fire pits, it was nice to have a choice to enjoy an evening fire to make s'mores or puggie pies.

Wonderful summer cousin reunion

We spent 3 nights at this lovely property. It is fully equipped with everything you can think of inside and out. We enjoyed the firepits and kayaking down the creek almost every day we were there. When it was hot, there were plenty of games to play inside. Really cool arcade room. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful creekside getaway!

We wanted a nature getaway between visiting Chicago and Detroit and this was the perfect choice for our group of 15. We had kids ages 6-17 who were completely absorbed by the creek (kayaking, swimming, gathering oysters, fishing, s'mores by the firepit beside it....). The arcade room was also a huge hit! We fully planned on taking advantage of all the yard game options, but between the game tables in the basement and the call of the creek, we never got around to it. Very quiet suburban neighborhood, but easy access to Walmart to stock up for meals. We also took a quick drive to Elkhart to visit the RV/MH Hall of Fame Museum--LOVED seeing all the vintage campers from different eras. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels for our big group, well stocked kitchen if you are planning to cook meals. Kristi is incredibly responsive in coordinating all the details of your stay--fantastic communication. Great vrbo!!

Family get away

This home was perfect for our family of 15 to celebrate my father-in-law’s 80th birthday! Family aged 11-80, was able to enjoy the large yard playing kick ball, wiffle ball, 4-square and relaxing on the patio. The arcade and indoor games were endless!! So much space for all of us! Perfect place for a family get away!

Totally Awesome Vacation Home

Our church youth group stayed here to participate in a national level competition. When you have a group of youths that don't want to leave the vacation house, you are doing something right! Kristy (the property host) is the best! She communicated with us right from the start and was always available if there were questions. The house is great - plenty of space and activities galore! We totally enjoyed our stay here and we are planning to return soon! Thanks Kristy for the outstanding experience!

Pictures of the listing are complete and accurate. The Very roomy layout with multi-levels allows everyone a large place to gather as well as enough space to spread out. The plethora of games always keeps the kids entertained, and the wildlife viewing in the backyard and on the creek was amazing. Christy was very responsive and understanding of our family's needs

This is the best VRBO experience I have ever had!

When I travel, I prefer to stay in a home, rather than a hotel, so I use VRBO around the world. This is the best experience I have ever had, and my friends (five other Notre Dame alums) all commented the same. Kristy's home is spacious, clean, and had everything imaginable for us to use. The kitchen is well-stocked, the bedrooms are large, the living room, kitchen, dining room and game rooms were better than we expected. Kristy's communications with us prior to our arrival and after our arrival were excellent. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the backyard is spacious and soothing. I will definitely hope to rent this home again whenever I am in that area.

Family Gathering

We were looking for a place to gather our immediate family from several states around. This was the perfect property. House was nice and big, tons of room for everyone. I’ve never been to a house with so many activities provided on property. There is something to do for all ages. Yard is big with two fire pits and plenty of space for outdoor activities. Property owners were very responsive.

Perfect

The perfect house for a rural get away with a large group. The house was clean, well organized and had many amenities. We had lots of fun swimming in the creek and hanging out on the large patios. But were also able to enjoy the surrounding area, the Warren State Sand Dunes were close and great and the kayaks/tubes at the house were perfect for afternoon on the water. Kristy was a fantastic host -- extremely responsive, helpful and fair. We're very happy we chose this house for our family get away and would definitely consider returning should we revisit the area.

Perfect Weekend with Friends

We had an amazing stay! From the beginning, Kristy was responsive and helpful. She answered all my questions, offering suggestions on what to do in the area, and was prompt in her replies. The pictures and descriptions of the house are totally accurate, which was helpful when planning sleeping arrangements, packing, etc. The house and the property are absolutely beautiful! It exceeded our expectations. There’s so much space in the house and lots to do. The outdoor space is breathtaking, we loved waking up to the beautiful views. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and I would 10 out of 10 recommend staying at this home. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Great for Extended Family

This house has great bedroom and living spaces for a variety of family and friends. Bedrooms are spacious, mattresses are comfortable. Games room offers lots of fun activities for people to play together. Outside space is lovely, and the fenced yard was great for our pup. Thanks for a great stay, Kristi!

Perfect ND weekend

First, and probably most important, the communication with Kristi was about as good as I've experienced in renting property. We were given clear instructions on the way in, including notes about anything that might have been in process. The house was clean and had more than enough in the way of indoor games (pool, air hockey, darts, etc.) and outdoor fun (2 firepits, corn hole, kayaks, etc.). Would give a 6 out of 5 if I could! The creek behind the house was perfect for the atmosphere it added plus the ability to paddle down a few miles. Thank you!
