Host was very welcoming, accommodating especially when we had to change date of arrival and departure due to my husband's schedule. Amenities in cottage-as seen in the pictures-living room relaxing, comfortable king bed, soft bedsheets. We enjoyed the weekend!

The owner/manager double booked the cabin. I messaged her for location verification and she told me she thought it already had guests. That’s all she told me. I texted her multiple text messages asking for the address and told her we were in the area and ready to get in. After an hour I finally checked my VRBO app and found a message from her stating it was overbooked and she had refunded our money. I was furious and without lodging! So, beware when booking this property. You might be left without a place to stay.

Cute spot for a good price.

Location is perfect. Check in was easy. Property manager is quick with responses. We were in town for a wedding. Our time at the cottage was very limited due to many wedding events, but this place is definitely a good value. The property has so much potential. The deck is amazing but needs to be pressure washed along with the outdoor furniture. Hot tub had a film of pollen clinging to the water. Im thinking the previous occupants left it uncovered for several days. It wasn't a huge deal. I cleaned it and used the hot tub. Consider removing the artificial plants plants from the living space. They are holding dust and make the propertylook look dated. But, place was well worth the price and i would stay lllllllll jjjjjjjj here again. Bbbbb bsevdays.

Wow! Absolutely amazing stay

I can’t say enough good things about this stay. Even before check in the host was so welcoming and helpful. The cabin was more amazing than the pictures. From the massive back deck that our dogs loved to the best master bedroom bed I have ever slept in. We enjoyed a beautiful winery ROO less than 10 minutes away. Come stay and enjoy this cabin you won’t be disappointed.

Private Peaceful Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was actually better in person, in that it was way bigger than we thought it would be and has a huge back porch right in the middle of the mountains, a short trip up from Downtown Ellijay. What I enjoyed most was the surrounding nature. We had our 9 yo daughter and Boston Terrier with us, too. Overall, a great stay. Would stay again when it is not as cold. We are true, native Floridians! ;)

Family getaway

Good family trip to the mountains. The place was as described. It had a nice open concept and the back deck had lots of space with great views. The master bed room was nice and spacious. My son really enjoyed getting in the hot tub. The bath ropes were nice to have when going to and from the hot tub, since it was fairly cold. It’s good place for couples or small families. I would definitely consider booking it again in the future!

Mountain Getaway

We love Ellijay and have stayed in cabins prior through Mountain Oasis and loved them but this time we booked through VRBO and had never before. There was difficulty with messages sending not sure if it was through VRBO or signal or what but we had a difficult time getting ahold of someone for the code. Other than that the stay was great! We loved the property. Ideal closeness to town, clean, pet friendly, and host was helpful. We would definitely stay here again just be sure to get code prior to a few hours before. Our favorite thing about this property was the beautiful porch! It was perfect for relaxing and getting away. The hot tub was also nice to have as well. They also have other cottages right next door for rental as well so it’s great for a multi-family stay or friends vacationing together. Thanks for everything!

Milton Escape

A little ole hurricane named Milton made it necessary for us to evacuate our home in the Tampa Bay Area. Sunny Side Up (and Kimy) to the rescue! This was the best distraction we could have ever hoped for! The cottage is better than described and the outdoor space is just perfect. Cute Mountain Cottage

Cottage was quiet and relaxing. We stayed indoors (due to 10 degree weather) but had a great girls weekend lounging in the living room with our blankets and robes provided. Check in and out was seamless and the host was responsive! Would highly recommend.
