Also featuring air conditioning via energy-efficient mini splits, which is rare in Estes.

The suite offers genuine luxury with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a Breville toaster oven, two-burner induction cooktop, air fryer, blender, crockpot, and complete cookware for preparing full meals. The dining table seats four comfortably.

A coffee maker provides morning fuel, while wine glasses and champagne flutes are ready for celebratory toasts at sunset.

The layout includes a comfortable king bed with bedside tables featuring built-in charging ports, plus a pullout sofa bed that accommodates additional guests.

An electric fireplace creates perfect ambiance beneath a large Samsung TV equipped with Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and other streaming services.

A shared workspace offers a quiet spot for planning adventures or catching up on correspondence. There`s also a shared deck upstairs offering great views from the outdoor dining table of the Continental Divide.

Split-unit air conditioning and electric baseboard heating ensure year-round comfort, while portable fans provide additional airflow during warmer months.

The shared hot tub (10 AM-9 PM) sits under open mountain sky, while the outdoor dining area and BBQ grill provide additional space for enjoying meals with those incredible Estes Valley views.

The lodge grounds in the Solitude Cabins community attract elk and deer regularly, often visible from the suite`s windows during morning and evening hours.

A paved path leads to Lake Estes in about 7 minutes for peaceful walks around the water. Downtown restaurants and shops are 5 minutes away, while Rocky Mountain National Park`s wilderness begins just 10-15 minutes up the road.

The Solitude Lodge is a quiet neighborhood of vacation cabins near Lake Estes, just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park. This is a peaceful, family-friendly resort community. It encompasses 45 standalone cabins, a main lodge with 7 hotel-style rooms, and a meeting space/gathering area. The grounds cover 9 acres and back up to wild forest to the east, so wildlife frequent the neihgborhood. Lake Estes has a great walking path around it and is about a 5-10 minute walk from the property. Solitude is only a few minutes by car to downtown Estes Park.

You will need a car to really enjoy your time in Estes Park, though the town`s free summer shuttle does have a stop in the Solitude neighborhood. That shuttle runs from July to September and will take you to downtown, and from there you can take other shuttles around the Estes Valley.

NO SMOKING, NO FIRES

This building was a few miles away from one of the largest forest fires in Colorado history a few years ago. This is now a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits. Charcoal BBQs are banned.

ROAD CONDITIONS

Estes has a great plow team and our parking area will also be plowed during storms, but if there`s a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!
