Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire cabin. This cabin is hotel-style with 5 other rooms in the building.
There is a new community firepit and cornhole game in front of the Grand Lodge by the playground.
The Lobby, located at the front of the property by Fall River Road, offers a paid guest laundry room, pamphlets for local attractions, and a coffee bar. You can access the door with your cabin code.

The Neighborhood:
Fall River Road has access to Rocky Mountain National Park's north entrance and is lined on each side of the street with cabins and resorts. Even so, this area is in the remote Rocky Mountains and feels very secluded. We often have wild animals such as bear and elk on our property.

Getting Around:
The easiest way to get around is by car. You do not need 4WD to access the property. There is free parking near the cabin. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park.

The roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you!

Other Things to Note:
We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash.

Do not feed the wildlife! It is illegal to feed any wildlife in Colorado and you could get a fine. This includes deer, elk, birds, bears and rodents! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was one of two properties that was available on the dates we needed. It is very convenient to the national park, however the property is not as secluded/private as the pictures depicted it. I thought the hot tub was a communal one, but was under the deck of one of the properties houses. After seeing this, we decided to not disturb. Where we stayed was clean, had a kitchenette, and was a great place to stop for the evenings. We were in a downstairs unit and the last two nights of our stay, there were people with heavy feet in the unit above us. During normal hours this is expected. At 3:30 am, it was not expected. In the written description of the unit, it says it’s part of a mini hotel. The pictures with the description show a cabin in nature. I should have read the description more fully. It didn’t have a place to unpack your clothing out of the suitcase, i wish it would have a chest of drawers instead of the desk that is there. All in all, it was a nice place to stay and i would recommend it. If i would have read the description fully, instead of going off of pictures, I wouldn’t have been surprised.

Warm and Welcoming

Amberwood Estes Park Cabin 16 provided the perfect getaway for relaxation and unwinding. This cabin was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. It features a cozy kitchen nook, a clean bathroom, and a spacious living area complete with a king bed and fireplace. The recliner in front of the fireplace was ideal for warming up to in the evening. The cabin was spotless and offered stunning views, making breakfast on the deck a real treat. Its location was also a major plus, just minutes from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance and downtown Estes Park, where you can enjoy delicious food and pick up souvenirs. Highly recommended!
